Washington (dpa) - Donald Trump's slash-and-burn attacks against Mexicans, women, immigrants and military heroes has expanded to Muslims, provoking another round of outrage on Friday over the leading Republican White House hopeful.
The business tycoon, who is seeking the conservative party's presidential nomination, is under fire for failing to rebuff anti-Muslim comments at a campaign rally Thursday.
Trump indicated that he would look into getting rid of Muslims during a question and answer session at the event in Rochester, New Hampshire, according to broadcast footage and The Hill newspaper.
One man stood up and said: "We have a problem in this country, it's called Muslims ... We know our current president is one - you know he's not even an American ... That's my question - when can we get rid of them?"

When McCain was running I didn’t care for him but was willing to back him because he got the nomination. I remember somebody in the audience accused Obama of not being a legal citizen or a Muslim or something along that line and McCain defended Obama, BOOM, I and everyone I knew was done with him after that.
I believe someone in the Establishment ‘planted’ that statement to Trump hoping he would do the same thing McCain did. How many times has Obama called conservatives names?

Why would ANYONE interact with a ‘kook’?? Following my own advise, why am I interacting with you-— ‘I no longer care about our country being overrun by illegal immigrants and bad trade deals and worse treaties..’????? Unless of course you forgot the sarcasm label.
For one thing, this is a German news source. The Germans have shut off the spigot of the massive influx of Muslims into their country because they don't want them either. Sweden might still want them but the rest of the EU seems to have slammed the door in the face of these people.
For another thing, John McPain may have stuck up for Obama in 2008 but remember he was a big loser. And since then, we have almost 7 year history of Obama's love affair with Muslims that we didn't have when he ran in 2008. If he is a Christian, then why does he treat Christians like lepers and Muslims like his brethren? And he acts unlike any Christian I know.
Lastly, I don't think Trump has necessarily has an obligation to defend Obama's religion and agree with some member of a large audience. He didn't agree with the guy and quickly moved on. This is all about a hit job against Trump by the Left-Wing media, some establishment Republicans and beltway idiots. They found a pimple and they are squeezing and picking at it, trying to get it infected.
So, what’s wrong with getting rid of Muslims?
Food for thought: America was protected in two world wars by two oceans. The Japs and the Heinies just couldn’t get at us without seriously getting their feet wet.
