Ann Coulter said late Wednesday she was just asking questions.
Prior to an appearance Wednesday evening with Fox News' Megyn Kelly, Coulter said in reference to pro-Israel remarks made during the second televised GOP primary debate, "How many f---ing Jews do these people think are in United States?"
The right-wing provocateur defended these and other questionable tweets Wednesday, explaining in her Fox interview that she was merely criticizing "pandering" by the GOP candidates.
"You want to take that back?" Kelly asked the author about her tweet.
"No," Coulter responded, "I just tweeted the question well, actually, I was tweeting all night when all the candidates were pandering, pandering, pandering. I wrote my column about it. They seem to be getting certain boxes: Have to mention Reagan, have to mention that they're pro-life, have to mention Israel."
"The entire Republican Party is pro-Reagan, pro-life, pro-Israel," she added. "The last question was: After you're president, how will America be better? And suddenly, we're back to Israel again. It's just this checking off of the boxes, and the virtues boxes and it's one of the things I like about in fact, I think they're probably pandering
to evangelicals, um, not Jews. It's just pandering, pandering, pandering, something we all agree on is not really separating the candidates."

Used to be an Ann Coulter fan........no more. Not in the last 5 years. She’s gonna let her mouth overload her arse one time too many one of these days and someone will slap her back into reality. JMHO
Fools. This is a nod at the Shrillery “F***ing Jew Bastard” comment that was scrubbed by the media and put on page B-11.
She is trying to dig her way out of this by saying these are points “we all agree on.” Well, I am not in favor of playing speech police but good golly, she is flaming herself with that garbage.
She has supported borderline candidates for many years now. Her last good point that sticks in my mind was her point against Roberts during his confirmation. Something changed her at some point since then.
It would have been defensible if she slammed these guys for thinking Israel is the 51st state but she didn’t do that. What she said is indefensible.
This is America! Using language that causes offence is punishable by death right?
Wow Coulter, you’ve no class left, have you? Intelligence without a moral compass ends up being empty ideas.
I love Israel but hate the Jews

Have to be honest ... I see that a lot ... rah rah Israel ... then denigrate the dirty Jews.
I find it disheartening myself.
She can be my friend... Then again, I seem to have this thing for really tall, un-PC, skinny chicks with nice tits, a huge Adam's Apple, and she's shooting a gun.
Sure and FWIW, I always us the F-Word in place of commas or exclamation points especially in my business emails.
Just the other day I responded to an email from my boss asking about the status of a project I was working on and while I could have responded, Im just wrapping up a few final details but I expect to get it to you by COB today., instead I wrote; Im f***ing working on it you f***ing Jew bi**h, have a nice f***ing day and get off my f***ing back and let me tell you that she really appreciated my use of creative punctuation. So much so that she has decided to give me unlimited time off. Its unpaid and I was escorted out of the building and Im not allowed to come back, ever, but you could tell she really appreciated it.
She left out bastard!
You need to grow a sense of humor
For evangelicals, it’s all about Israel. The Jews just need to all be there for the Second Coming to happen, following which there won’t be many Jews left at all.
You need to grow a brain.
Correct.
On the other hand, maybe she was referring to the Jews in the ACLU, Hollywood, or perhaps Barbara Boxer.
Exactly.
Classy, Ann.
lol....you’re f____ing hilarious. See what I did there? I exchanged the exclamation mark for a period and an obscenity...it’s fun!
Actually, it feels a little naughty and weird, as I don’t use profanity, even when it’s called for!
One thing you notice about Jeb Bush is he makes his gaffes when he's trying hard not to say something (He can't say "abortion" he says "women's health." He wants to make good with the Latins so he disses the Asians). It's like that with a lot of politicians.
I wonder is something similar was going on with Ann. It's not like Huckabee and Cruz and Rubio and the rest were actually angling for Jewish votes first and foremost. Maybe Ann's comment reflected her knowing and wanting to communicate humorously that all the talk about Israel was actually designed to win over Evangelicals -- and it came out as something offensive about Jews.
In any case, the profanity was wrong and offensive.
