Ann Coulter said late Wednesday she was just asking questions.
Prior to an appearance Wednesday evening with Fox News' Megyn Kelly, Coulter said in reference to pro-Israel remarks made during the second televised GOP primary debate, "How many f---ing Jews do these people think are in United States?"
The right-wing provocateur defended these and other questionable tweets Wednesday, explaining in her Fox interview that she was merely criticizing "pandering" by the GOP candidates.
"You want to take that back?" Kelly asked the author about her tweet.
"No," Coulter responded, "I just tweeted the question well, actually, I was tweeting all night when all the candidates were pandering, pandering, pandering. I wrote my column about it. They seem to be getting certain boxes: Have to mention Reagan, have to mention that they're pro-life, have to mention Israel."
"The entire Republican Party is pro-Reagan, pro-life, pro-Israel," she added. "The last question was: After you're president, how will America be better? And suddenly, we're back to Israel again. It's just this checking off of the boxes, and the virtues boxes and it's one of the things I like about in fact, I think they're probably pandering
to evangelicals, um, not Jews. It's just pandering, pandering, pandering, something we all agree on is not really separating the candidates."

Why call the “f___ing Jews” rather than “Jews”?
She tweeted while under the influence.
Ann, my respect for you no longer exists.
Exactly. She claims her comment was just “anti-pandering”, not anti-semitic, but she could have made that point without the vulgar intensifier.
Keep digging.....
how many f’in coulters are there in this country? 1? that’s 2 too many
She really is as dumb as she looks.
I don’t think they were Pandering, it looked more like Pan-Handling. I think I get what she was trying to say but her attempt to be bombastic just gets waived around missing the point all together.
Hmmm...”I love Israel but hate the Jews”...? Dunno Ann.
That was my first thought...she was drunk.
I never cared that much for her anyway, although she’s capable of making good points, but this is truly disgusting.
She needs to go away....but of course she won’t.
She has some convenes. I mean, Hillary said f-/—ing Jews
Ann, do yourself a favor and just go away, there’s no excuse for that.
Well, as long as there are one or more of ‘em, I proudly stand with those “f’n Jews”, and their homeland Israel.
Don’t really care how many there are.
Ann Coulter is dead to me.
Cojones
Phones/computers should have a little gizmo on them that you have to breathe into before it will operate - just like those in cars after someone has been charged for drunk driving.
Does that include your love machine Bill Maher?
With that remark, Ann has crossed the threshold and is showing her true face, one similar to her pal Bill Maher.
I don’t like you or trust you anymore Ann.
I predict she will try walking this back, when the speaking engagements begin to dry up, book sales sink and Hannity no longer allows her to treat him like a Pinata. By that time (maybe two years from now) it will be too late.
Then she will either become Libertarian or drop the mask and become a Dem.
She was not calling them that, she was using it as punctuation, like a comma or exclamation point
The F-word was unnecessary but she is right there is (and always has been) a lot of pandering toward Israel by all parties and candidates. Challenge is to figure out who says it and means it and who says it for political expediency. Some are so over-the-top with it that you’d think they were Israeli instead of American. Shameful at times. Anyway, maybe Coulter should avoid drunk tweeting.
No. On purpose. She claims she is a big Trump supporter. I think she is a big GOPe troll put in to scare voters away from Trump. I suspected it when I heard Back this morning go VERY light on her. It just smells to high heaven. She has always come across as a DC insider to me. JMO.
