Ann Coulter said late Wednesday she was just asking questions.
Prior to an appearance Wednesday evening with Fox News' Megyn Kelly, Coulter said in reference to pro-Israel remarks made during the second televised GOP primary debate, "How many f---ing Jews do these people think are in United States?"
The right-wing provocateur defended these and other questionable tweets Wednesday, explaining in her Fox interview that she was merely criticizing "pandering" by the GOP candidates.
"You want to take that back?" Kelly asked the author about her tweet.
"No," Coulter responded, "I just tweeted the question well, actually, I was tweeting all night when all the candidates were pandering, pandering, pandering. I wrote my column about it. They seem to be getting certain boxes: Have to mention Reagan, have to mention that they're pro-life, have to mention Israel."
"The entire Republican Party is pro-Reagan, pro-life, pro-Israel," she added. "The last question was: After you're president, how will America be better? And suddenly, we're back to Israel again. It's just this checking off of the boxes, and the virtues boxes and it's one of the things I like about in fact, I think they're probably pandering
to evangelicals, um, not Jews. It's just pandering, pandering, pandering, something we all agree on is not really separating the candidates."

Ann was probably participating in one of those drinking games for the debate. I am still a fan of hers. Her recent book on immigration has helped a lot and perhaps Trump was influenced by it.
Yes...she was in her cups.
She has dark roots. Though if she really let them grow out, her hair would likely be grey.
Well, she was one of them. Lucianne Goldberg wasn’t too bad at one point. Her son wasn’t.
There’s a guy that started out doing sports. Can’t think of his name right now. In the 90s, he was one the Clintons pretty hard. And then...
Strangest thing.
One the other hand, there have also been a very few Clinton mouthpieces who have turned a lot more moderate. Some who went to FoxNews moderated their tone pretty well for the most part.
hee hee hee ... good one
yer sure funny
You’re right. Most of these candidates want the Christian pro-Israel vote, which is not pandering to most of America’s Jews. Sadly, they will vote for Obama and his polices despite the risks he’s willing to take with Israel’s security to appease Iran. Many of them would rather see Israel endangered than be seen forming a coalition with conservative Christians who support Zionism. Ann should know this.
I wrote Ann Coulter off years ago when she trashed Sarah Palin. I have no respect for Ann Coulter, hanging out with Bill Mohr (sp) etc
Would never hear Sarah Palin or Franklin Graham etc saying f...en Jews..
Ann Coulter is a loser, I remember being disappointed that Trump had her introduce him
/and she isn`t even a natural blonde
Ann Coulter was a loser before she made the F statement
A great example of how us conservatives eat our own.....
If someone uses that terminology, they aren’t someone I consider my own.
I consider this self-policing. It’s a shame the Left couldn’t do that with Obama. Thus they are saddled with him and his policies.
If Ann can use that terminology, I don’t want to be saddled with her views.
She’s on her own here. I want nothing to do with her after that comment.
She’s a slimy POS
She has jumped the whale.
She might remember there is a very large contingent of Christendom that goes with dispensational theology. Just about all Southern Baptists for one and a boatload of indies. Israel is inseparable from this. She has just blared to this whole contingent just how tone deaf she is.
Someone needs to explain to her that there ARE other folks besides “effing Jews” who care about this. A lot.
I agree.
One of the problems Ann and others cause Conservatism, is that their clearly non-Conservative behaviors are used to buttress ideological untruths.
Here (in this incident) she uses a racist comment. Here’s how it is described.
“The right-wing provocateur defended these and other questionable tweets Wednesday, explaining in her Fox interview that she was merely criticizing “pandering” by the GOP candidates.”
There you have it. She’s a right-wing person doing this. A Conservative
Conservatives do not use racial group labels like this. None the less, Ann allowed herself to make it look like that was the case.
I despise people who claim to be Conservative then reinforce the Leftist charges against Conservatives.
Ann isn’t only defending herself here. She’s defending the premise it’s okay for Conservatives to behave the way she did. No Ann, it isn’t.
True Conservatives are not racists and do not desperate minorities in this manner.
Even if she DID want to tar a whole group, she didn’t even have the courtesy to say “... and effing Christians.”
But then she would know she had now jumped Godzilla.
True enough...
