The GOP presidential debate winner Wednesday night was dominant front-runner Donald Trump, a Newsmax Poll finds.
In early results from a poll of Newsmax TV viewers, the billionaire businessman logged 64 percent support, while former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina came in second, with 12 percent.
Texas Sen. Ted Cruz came in third with 6 percent.

“Charging employers who knowingly hire illegals with a crime punishable by prison would be the single largest deterrent to illegal immigration.”
And would be the single largest factor to increase American employment.
How come all these Repub candidates cant all agree they are only going to discuss the issues at these debates? Just ignore the moderators meaningless questions and each comment on one issue at a time? And say what needs to be said about the Dems and that goof in the WH? Why do they let these media hacks control these debates?
“And an enormous reduction in American liberty.”
You make as much sense as a liberal. You think employers that don’t hire Americans are somehow enhancing American liberty?
The laws on hiring illegals are already on the books. We need laws enforced, period. Not one more piece of legislation needs to even be voted on.
oh yeah????
:P
Yea we get it, you are against a wall to stop illegal aliens and you are pro-illegal alien. Why are you posting at FR a conservative site?
Polling “newsmax tv viewers” is not scientific.
Not a miracle, just a civil war/revolution.
Place one thumb up your butt, place the other thumb in your mouth. Now switch. Repeat 100 times.
Good point.
When he brags about how much money he’s made, I don’t think it’s about the money itself but to show what he is capable of and can apply the same knowledge and ability to the rest of the country.
Moron. The wall keeps foreign invaders out, it doesn’t keep any citizens in. If these people can’t get free welfare they will simply come in to steal what isn’t given to them, traffic drugs, etc. And the same Islamic hordes on Europe’s borders will eventually be using the Mexican border to invade us here. The wall must be built now. It’s a matter of national security.
Eventually????

Ask most political observers who won Wednesday night's Republican debate, broadcast by CNN from the Ronald Reagan presidential library in California, and they'll almost certainly say it's the newcomer to the stage, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina. Ask the data and you get a different answer: It's still Donald Trump's party.
Are you the first to cry “The emperor has no clothes”?

DATA: Trump won the debateor at least talked the most
Jeb has been given a 100 million war chest. If the PAC-rats decide that the SS JebBush is a sinking vessel, I wonder whether they'll scurry to Rubio's raft or Kasich's. I'm guessing Rubio's, since he's basically Jeb Bush in a slicker and more youthful package.
Other than promises what has Trump delivered? I do like that he put PC and illegal immigration front and center, but what’s he delivered?
Exactly my point. Trump’s accomplished nothing permanent or substantial. What are the proofs he will?
Holding Trump to the same standards we do everybody else seems to really upset his supporters. Were the wealthy able to get draft deferments? Can Trump keep it straight as to why he didn’t serve?
A little skepticism would go a long way. Dig a little and you’ll find that Trump isn’t all that.
People want the wall ad deportations. They’re not listening to anything else. The Republicans should have done something before it got to this point.
