“Yet another reason why I will never move from Texas.”
Same here. I may move away from Texas some day, but it will take a LOT OF CONVINCING to get me to move to a gun-grabbing state.
...and I know we’re not alone in thinking that way.

If you have a rusted up .22 now's your chance. You can make a working zip gun with less than $20 in parts from any hardward store. Pretty good profit margin if the City will give you $200 per piece.

Considering Marty the Moron makes Mumbles look like a Rhodes Scholar, I kinda have to agree.

Insane allowed abuses & tyranny like this is why I buy ammo with cash and do not have a CCP. It will be a cold day in hell before I buy a gun license also.

Gun owners and those interested in the 2nd amendment should have the same right as Iran - a terrorist supporting regime making nuclear weaponry.
Shouldn’t US citizens have the same rights as the Iranian regime?
Shouldn’t US citizens have the right to ‘self-inspect’ on their guns without government involvement?

I’d love to see letters like this to minorities warning them not to misuse their rights.
That would last about ten seconds before some people would be looking for new employment.

Actually, they should try sending that letter to all the criminals, gang-bangers and drug dealers who own guns, you know, those groups who are actually doing the killing with guns and then see how things improve from there before proceeding further. It really seems pointless to send that letter to the people who aren’t causing any problems.

For those that didn’t read the letter - it’s obvious that “gun safety” is just a ruse to get a better accounting of all them “attack weapons” that are out there.

Yes, I really think that this is laying the groundwork for compiling a database of law-abiding gun owners (while completely the ignoring the criminals who commit almost all gun violence, and don't even report into to their parole officers much less jump through any hoops and red tape to legally own a firearm in the states which require such). They want the criminals to have guns, while disarming the citizens who will potentially be their opposition when/if it comes to that. It's called "anarcho-tyranny", or what Rahm Emmanuel called "creating opportunities out of chaos and crises". We saw the little signs pointing the way when the Black Panthers were allowed to get away with initimidating voters outside of voting precincts by "patrolling" while armed with billy clubs, for which they never even got a slap on the wrist, much less anything meaningful. The blatant criminalisation through increasing laws and regulations of law-abiding gun owners has only increased, while violent criminals either get a slap on the wrist or get shuffled through the revolving door of the criminal system.

I repeat once again .....”NEVER” register your firearm’s ...I point out as usual the systematic confiscation of registered firearms after Katrina as a case in point. Now the moonbat state where I was raised proves exactly why I left, another waste of money and double checking to see if the “law abiding” residents have not moved without re-registering in the town they have moved to....that would be a violation which would prompt confiscation for not jumping through another hoop. I do not need permission for a right. My training and subsequent assignment to the .45 shooting team for two years allowed me to not only hone my shooting skills but taught me the best way to show my “buddies” (ya I’ll put it that way as to not self incriminate) how to clean and maintain the .45’s they have that ...well gee? I do not know if they are registered or not?.....I DO NOT NEED PERMISSION FOR A RIGHT. The federal government and now certain state governments ARE THE ENEMY. One more thing I could care less what you think of my outlook...it is proper and within my Constitutional rights.

And that is exactly the reason firearm licensing should not be legal. What’s next?

In NH if I wanted to get a CC permit, next Saturday when I go to the County Republican Committee meeting I would get three State Reps, two State Senators, and the chairmen of two City Committees to sign the reference section.
If Papa Smurfs kid Bill Sununu wants a dime out of me in his run for Gov, he better support Constitutional Carry.
