Nothing on keeping recidivist criminals locked up or on doing away with parole for violent offenders.
Nope. Go after the law abiding.

We must think creatively in order to reduce the amount of illegal guns and violence on our streets, Walsh said. Focusing on law-abiding citizens seems an odd -- excuse me: creative -- way to do this.

Percentage of lawfully owned and licensed guns used in crimes in Boston? I’m sure I’ll hear crickets chirping in the middle of the Pacific Ocean before CBS bothers to dig up that number.

It’s what they get for complying with licensing laws.

The worrisome part should be obvious. Because of licensing, these scoundrels have a general idea who owns guns. And if they could, you can bet your bottom dollar that these letters would *order* citizens to turn in their guns to the police.

Having received those promises I want you to **** off!
To: Half Vast Conspiracy
I can’t promise I’ll try, but I’ll try to try.

...to try to reduce gun violence... Our esteemed (by a few) mayor is,at best, semi literate. But then so was our last mayor,Tom "Mumbles" Menino.

We must think creatively in order to reduce the amount of illegal guns and violence on our streets, Walsh said.We can count you and Commissioner William Evans out for doing any thinking at all, Mayor. Dumbasses!

Boston communists club of mayor and police commissioner. America has lost so much freedom it doesn’t surprise me. Make sure that you have weapons that are not registered and keep separate form those that are. Police states are not safe and offer no personal protection.

In MA, an unregistered gun gets you 1 year in jail. Yet another reason why I will never move from Texas.
Want to reduce gun violence? Let law abiding citizens own guns. The more the better.
