Russia is building a military base along the Ukrainian border, signaling its preparing for long-term support of the pro-Russian separatists fighting for Ukraine.
The massive base - scheduled for completion in April - will house ammunition depots and barracks for several thousand soldiers, and will be used to train soldiers, reported Reuters.
The Reuters reporter investigating the new base was temporarily detained and accused of being a Ukrainian spy. Russian officials didn't respond to Reuters questions about the purpose of the base and whether it's connected to the fight for Ukraine.
The base will include a communications node, massive dining room, a skating rink and swimming pool and more than 1,000 residential apartments. "They are building a military town," a local resident told Reuters.

This might spell doom for ISIS.
And Washington, DC does not give a flying fork.
Ukraine? Who is that?
Uh-Oh!Will Obama draw another Red Line?
Ammo depot is a good target. Makes a big boom when hit!
Housing for 1,000 troops indicates this is a massive base?
Sound rather average to small to me.

That’s what we did when Iraq and Iran were fighting.
Putin everywhere on the move. Lots to do. And he knows he has only until Jan. 20, 2017.
Yep, we screwed that deal up, huh?
Yosemite Sam (Putin) is going to have rabbit (Barugs Obunny) for lunch.
That is to keep the islamic hoards from pouring into their borders
Or any other small, Christian country nearby.
This is more about being a staging point for an invasion of the Ukraine and to be able to provide support for Russian Separatists already operating there now.
