The real estate mogul first noted that "the pictures in the magazine were magnificent" and that "overall, it was probably a pretty good story."
He then said, "Probably I did say something like that about Carly," adding later that he said it "in a jocular manner." He also said it wasn't about her appearance.
"I’m talking about persona. I’m not talking about looks," he said on Fox. TPM
I would vote for Trump. But I don’t like the man. He’s an inelegant bully. He want to “burn it all down.”
Cruz, on the other hand, uses his intellect and right-mindedness and wisdom and wordsmithing to great effect. Cruz isn’t about “burning it all down.” He’s about severe, Constitutional correction of a nation that’s in collapse.
I really do find it puzzling that FReepers defend Trump’s nasty personal attacks against anyone whom he doesn’t happen to find useful. He said “face,” not “persona.” Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.

You know, you really should work on your reading comprehension thing. You stink at it. I've always said that some of the Trump support was well reasoned and well thought out - that would include Jims - who I think still is leaning Cruz but who supports Trump's fight against the GOP e and the media and PC. In that, Jim and I are exactly on the same page, as we were in 2011-12 too.

Who cares what type of woman Trump likes? We are not wanting to date the man. If he gets America back on track with jobs and helps our vets, I don’t care if he makes light of all us older, less gorgeous females. I only hope Cruz will be at his side, if Cruz does not become President himself.

Donald Trump is excelling in popular opinion because he dares to turn the same weapons used upon him back on his attackers. Defeating gutter snipers requires getting into the gutter with them. Donald Trump has been there done that in the business world for decades. I’d be willing to bet that you don’t object to stock brokers and business operators using these tactics if it saves your job or makes you money. This is our government that’s at stake. Maybe we can get nicey nice when Christians stop being persecuted and we become a free nation based on Christian principles again. Or don’t you believe in wars fought for those reasons?
I think you're right about that. I read that he couldn't get a date as a young man, and I believe the insecurity stemming from that has shaped his persona.
Now he can buy all the dates he wants.

Trump is somewhat akin to Archie Bunker. Archie would throw out some zingers, people would cringe, and then smile, thinking wow that was a good one.
His corporate bankruptcies were Chapter 11 and a restructuring. Hedge funds managers were involved. Carly did nothing to help HP other than get fired. Multitudes of companies have done the same.
Carly is a great speaker and maybe that is what worries me as that was the only thing that got the Kenyan elected.

I don't agree nor disagree with Trump but I will point out that we are judged by our looks every day.
Good looking people beat out less nice looking candidates for jobs all the time. I believe it's a proven fact. (Actual paid studies). Well dressed compared to sloppy, "pants down" dressers win every time. We don't even have to mention the dating world.
I'm not saying it should matter, I'm saying it already does does matter.
