TRUMP: US SHOULD ‘HELP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE,’ WITH REFUGEE CRISIS, ‘POSSIBLY’ LET SOME IN
Breitbart ^ | 5 SEPT 2015 | IAN HANCHETT

Posted on 09/07/2015 12:37:22 PM PDT by South40

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that while “There’s only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country” the US should “help as much as possible” with the European refugee crisis and “possibly” let some refugees into the US on Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

Trump was asked about the European refugee crisis and, “Should we be letting some of those people into this country?”

He answered, “So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. It’s like incredible what’s going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes.

First of all he never said ANYTHING about allowing any of the refugees in but just for chuckles, how can you compare a refugee to an illegal alien?

How?

You’re confused pal, Trump never said he would not allow ANYONE into the country, only ILLEGALS.

Got it?

Your hatred shows in every post you make. So, you deal with it - not my problem. The only person I hate is Satan, and possibly that POS who now occupies the WH. Your man, Cruz is liberal on a few issues too - H-1B Visas for instance. Deal with that. No one is pure except Jesus Christ.

Just as should have been done with the millions of immigrants to the USA during the 19th and 20th centuries, and also with the freedmen, refugees need to be required to do the following. They need to attend a meeting where the federal government’s constitutionally limited powers, including its limited power to tax and spend, are explaned to them, as the Founding States intended for those powers to be understood, should they ever become voting citizens.

In fact, for those refugees who understand English, Trump can have Judge Andrew Napolitano can read Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers to them in under three minutes.

Judge Napolitano & the Constitution

I’m sure that the video can be captioned / translated into multiple languages.

Trump is pursuing the presidency as he would a contract negotiation by not taking anything off the table while at the same time giving nothing away.

The art of the deal; I hear DT has had some success at it.

” I think he is, as he should, showing compassion for people who need help and are looking for a break.”

they don’t need our help. We have problems of our own. That is a Euro issue and let them sort it out. No American assistance needed.

I agree. If we did take in some refugees in need, we must do it in numbers that still allow assimilation.

I know you didn't, I was just making a point.

I will admit that Christians there are a tough topic, but I would urge U. S. support for Christian friendly nations vs bringing them to the U. S.

So how do we know who is a "Christian" and who can be trusted?

I live in San Diego. There has been reports of muslim prayer rugs being found near the border. Apprently, muslims are entering the US posing as Mexicans.

If they can pose as Mexicans the can pose as Christians. So how do we know?

He’s also pro-amnesty under it all.

I’ll be interested in the actual details of his economic plan.

You ARE a max American!

We have our own problems, we don't need to import those from the middle east.

Fact: These displaced people, innocent families and innocent children have been driven out of their homes and countries, by only one person....Barack Hussein Obama and his Democrat Party!!! There would be no ISIS, no Syria, no Middle East chaos, caused by Obama’s beloved Iran...so, do not bad Donald Trump for having a heart for something our country allowed to happen!!!

You should be bad mouthing your GOP (e) RINOs for abetting Obama in his planned destruction of our once great country!!! Trump is not the problem....Obama, Clinton, Biden Kerry, McConnell, Boehner, Romney, McCain, etc are the real problem....all of them failed our nation in time of critical need. Me....I’m sticking with Donald Trump. At least, he does not pee down my back and tell me it is raining!!!

I wasn’t referring to you. I’m sorry I sounded so bitchy. I just meant that FReepers often prefer their Christianity to other religions, and people (including the President) weren’t really keen on taking in a lot of undesirable Jews back in the mid 20th century.

These situations are always going to be with us. Just like the poor because of tyrannical government. Now that we have our own tyranny we are in no position to help anyone any longer. We can’t even help ourselves.

What would have really helped is if we had overthrown our own dictator and won the war on terror. That would have done more to help these people than anything we can do now. We have too many of our own problems. I look at the child and frankly, I see the future of my own grandchildren. Charity begins at home.

There are no guarantees in life, but asking them to prove long-term church attendance is a good first step. Churches keep records, too.

Your hatred shows in every post you make. So, you deal with it - not my problem.

And your stupidity shows in every post you make. Deal with that.

In the end, I support the most conservative candidate in the race. You are supporting a lifelong liberal.

I can live with that.
