Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump stated that while “There’s only so much we can do. We have to fix our own country” the US should “help as much as possible” with the European refugee crisis and “possibly” let some refugees into the US on Friday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
Trump was asked about the European refugee crisis and, “Should we be letting some of those people into this country?”
He answered, “So horrible on a humanitarian basis when you see that. It’s like incredible what’s going on. But, you know, we have so many problems. And the answer is possibly yes, Cokie, possibly yes.

I hear there are such advances in fracking for shale oil that now we are the worlds largest energy storehouse. We now have more usable energy than any other country tne world.

Exactly. He’s protecting his left flank on immigration. There’s no need to guard his right flank since no candidate has any desire to attack him on that side.
Some of us want him to be Atilla the Hun in regards to the present GOP make-up. Many of us don’t look at Trump as some great ‘conservative’ savior. We see him as a monkey-wrench, hopefully breaking up the ‘Uni-party’. As much as I like Cruz, he along with the other GOP contenders are for sale if they have any hope of winning. Only the bombastic Trump can self-finance, not being beholden to ANYONE. If the only thing Trump does is shake up or even destroy the present GOPe, that’s fine by many of us. And there are many of us......

You sound just like every Obama supporter I know. If we don't agree with him we "hate" him". That's just not true.
I realize, however, that the accusation of "hate" is a common tactic for defending a liberal candidate. So be it.
Trump has consistently said he is all for LEGAL immigration.
There is nothing inconsistent here. I think he is, as he should, showing compassion for people who need help and are looking for a break.

Same as the statement he made that some deported illegals might be allowed back in....they won't EVER be led to the entry door during a Trump administration.

Very true. If I remember correctly, Qaddaffi was being utilized and compensated for being the ‘gate-keeper’ for immigrants from Northern Africa into Europe.
