The first San Francisco elementary school to make bathrooms gender neutral has proudly removed the circles, triangles, and stick figure signs from the kindergarten and first-grade bathrooms that delineate the differences between the sexes.
Principal Sam Bass of Miraloma Elementary said the change at the beginning of the school year was prompted by the needs of six to eight students who are outside calling themselves simply boys or girls, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. Bathrooms for children older than first grade will be altered in coming years, even outside bathrooms that have multiple stalls.
Bass told the Chronicle, “There’s no need to make them gender-specific anymore,” adding, “One parent said, ‘So, you’re just making it like it is at home.’”

Facebook has identified 56 different gender identities. If we have to cater to the whims of each of those 56, this will go far beyond male female or other.

School is not home, nor is any other public place. I wonder if this parent (I’m assuming a mother) is willing to practice what she preaches in her use of facilities as an adult: at the mall, the ballgame, a bar. If not, why not? Just making it like it is at home.
How is this “like at home”? Since when do brothers and sisters go take a pee at the same time in the bathroom? That is what they are suggesting.

If this is California, I believe the legislature passed a law which would not allow a parent to sue if their child is sexually abused by a public school pervert. I believe they passed this law after parents sued a teacher who sexually abused students in a most despicable way for several years. And yet, parents will still send their children to these schools.
