Jeb Bush said on Thursday he would back fellow Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump if the businessman-turned-politician wins the party's nomination for the 2016 presidential election and Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee.
Asked if he would support Trump as Republican nominee over Clinton in the November 2016 contest, Bush said, "I would, of course."
"We need to be unified. We need to win," Bush, the former Florida governor, said in an interview on ABC's "Good Morning America" television program, one day after Trump told the same show he would back Bush over Clinton.
Bush and Trump have been engaged in public attacks on each another as they vie for the party's nomination.

WTH does that mean?
It means he has lost, he knows it, and he is trying to preserve some dignity for himself and a place at the table in the future, neither of which he is deserving of.
Loser says, “Deal!”
That was my first impression also.
Should make you reconsider.
Yeb has known for a while now he has no chance.
Or maybe he doesn’t read english so good???
Well, there is the kiss of death for Trump. Well-played, Bushies. Couldn’t ask for anything worse for Trump.
Oh, I’ll back Trump too, Jebster, but I will not back you.
Bush hasn’t lost until the Dems are certain to have a competitive primary (which is looking more likely every day I must agree).
Otherwise there are plenty of Op Chaos votes to give him the R nomination.
Amazing.
Bush finally said something I agree with.
(Now, will McConnell or Boner agree to support Trump?
Or would THEY prefer to support Hillary?)
Who cares what Bush thinks, I want the RNC to say this.
Endorse him in Spanish for sure.
No big deal-— what’s Yebbers supposed to say? No?— he would drop even further in the polls if he did. He will support Trump but not enthusiastically-— vise versa for Trump if Yebbers sneaks in somehow.
Jebby knows he’s finished....wants Trump to consider him for V.P. or something important....
I don’t think Trump will do anything of the kind....
Good catch. That is odd.
This is nothing but a ploy to prevent Trump from running third party no matter what the GOPe does to him.
Meanwhile, Bush will be happy to back any tricks to keep Trump out of the running.
That was my first thought, too.
JEB is greasing the wheels to make his eventual exit from the race as gracefully, and with the least amount of humiliation, as possible.
