The chaps whod be up for courting a bot believed they could have a fulfilling, emotional relationship with a lifelike machine.
However, the Sky News poll found only two per cent of women would date a droid.

Kim Bassinger was in a movie that came close to this idea:
My Stepmother is an Alien (1988).

I don't see much wrong with this. Robots are not feminists. I would assume that you could choose the appearance of your robot, so your robot was feminine. Robots don't vote. Robots could be programmed to agree with you. Robots could be programmed to say the right things to you. Robots could be programmed with a failsafe option to never run off with Rosie or some other dyke. Robots could be programmed to make a pizza and bring you a six pack at the end of a fun evening, while keeping their mouths shut as you watch sports on TV.
All in all, robots could give good competition to real women, so that one day all children are born to women that really are women in the feminine sense of the word, 'woman'.

Given the popularity of fleshlights and dildos, these numbers seem a little low, especially for the UK.

Wow, a robot?
After divorce, it’s certainly a consideration.
I’d need to see the options list...

B5 is still tops for me but Firefly is a strong 2nd place. If it had been allowed to live, maybe it could unseat B5.
Love Blake’s 7 and classic Dr Who as well.
