Republican presidential candidates Donald Trump unleashed on Tuesday another line of attack against the Iran nuclear deal, suggesting that the Iran deal would require the United States to fight Israel on Iran’s behalf if the Jewish State strikes Iran’s nuclear facilities.
In a phone interview with CNN Tuesday evening, Trump claimed that there’s “something in the Iran deal” that “people don’t understand” saying if someone attacks Iran, “we have to come to their defense.”
“Does that include Israel?” Trump asked. “And most people say yes, they don’t have an exclusion for Israel. So if Israel attacks Iran, according to that deal, I believe, the way it reads, unless they have a codicil or they have something to it, that we have to fight with Iran against Israel.”

Where Trump is getting this is from Frank Gaffney who is a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Forces and Arms Control Policy in the Reagan Administration.
Gaffney and Robert Spencer hold very similar views re: the threat of islam and if Trump is listening to them, he is getting some very good advice.
Furthermore, if Trump is listening to them, he will be changing his view of Pamela Geller.
Going from memory we are required to assist them with training on best practices etc. I don’t think we are required to provide material support as in troops or equipment. However it’s a short step from training to material support.

That is why Trump's poll numbers keep rising. He is the only hope at this point.
He drew a red line in Syria over the use of chemical weapons and......... he did NOTHING.
He was bound by the Budapest Memorandum to protect the territorial sovereignty of the Ukraine from invasion and
He is bound his oath of office to protect and defend the US Constitution........ he did NOTHING.
Promise by Obama are like pie crust, easily made and esaily broken. We should have learned that “HOPE & CHANGE” really is all about illusion and self delusion.
This shows Trump has a better understanding of Foreign Policy / Defense than a lot of folks give him credit for.
Trump had better start shouting this from the rooftops. Trump is the only one with a voice these days.
Remember Trump will be at the rally on Sept 9th on the Capital. I am sure his remarks will reference this point.
Just because he interjected this point into the campaign at this time does not logically lead to the conclusion that he just discovered it.
Trump is following a strategy. He's not going to lay all his cards the table at once.
My concern is mutiny. Israel launches an attack on the Iran nuke sites, and US soldiers manning anti-aircraft batteries refusing to shoot down the Isralei jets. What happens to the soldiers?

Sounds like everybody is going to gang up on Israel when it chooses to defend its existence. Now where have I heard that before hmmmmm.....
Scary times are coming. If the USA supports action against Israel when tthis time comes they may as well make me and millions like me an enemy combatant....because my loyalty will be long gone.
