Obama Is Ignoring the Science on Climate Change

....Obama gave a doom and gloom speech yesterday at the Global Leadership in the Arctic (GLACIER) conference in Alaska to build momentum for the U.N. climate deal in Paris this December.

So far less than one third of countries have submitted plans to cut carbon dioxide emissions by the Wall Street Journal’s count.

According to Obama, “Climate change is happening faster than we’re acting” and the world is facing a future of more fires, more melting, more warming, more suffering.

But there are at least two major problems with his focus on global warming as he’s presented it in Alaska.

1. Ignoring Evidence On Climate Change Obama continues to ignore science that doesn’t fit his narrative and has ignored sound evidence from people who disagree with him. Many of the environmental trends Obama has warned of do not appear to fit current realities....

2. What Will New Measures Do? Obama hasn’t given Americans, or the world, an answer to perhaps the most important question: what kind of impact will global warming measures accomplish?

For starters, Federal subsidies and tax credits for wind and solar have cost billions of dollars while only increasing wind and solar contribution to the American energy by only 5 percent. In addition, it has tied both industries to government dependence with only minor success.

They just claimed that July 2015 was the hottest month since records have been kept. They also claim that July 2015 was “1.46 degrees” hotter on average than the average temperature for the ENTIRE TWENTIETH CENTURY!. No one with even a minimal understanding of reality would believe for one second that there is any possible way to arrive at that figure plus or minus two degrees, let alone to an accuracy of 1/100th of one degree. It is like eyeballing a man and saying he is five feet and 9.6572438913 inches tall without even using a yardstick. If someone believes that it is possible to measure the average temperature of the entire globe for the thirty one days of July 2015 to that accuracy I disagree but I would not make an issue of it, I can understand why someone would believe that might be possible but anyone who thinks that there are records that accurate for the entire twentieth century should be finding a good spot in the pumpkin patch to sit and wait for the Great Pumpkin. Anyone who takes that seriously is incredibly naive.

Think about what this moron is saying. People will suffer, the economy will be affected. Those are pretty dam strong words coming from the president of the United States. This is panic causing talk. This is like yelling fire in a movie theater. Someone better have pretty darn good proof to spew things like that. So where is the proof?

Also ask them how the planet survived when CO2 was 1200 ppm 440 million years ago (not that I believe the earth is that old- that is just what the ‘scientists’ have ‘discovered’ with all their fancy measuring devices (which are NOT accurate when trying to determine the age of the earth- but the central point is that science has declared CO2 levels were at some point 1200 ppm- we stand at 390 ppm now-

Also ask them why it is that warming always happens first, and THEN Co2 rises 1000’s of years later IF CO2 is the ‘primary cause’ of global climate change like they claim

Use their own findings against them

Also ask them how man’s piddly contribution of CO2, which is only 0.00022% for the whole human history, can
POSSIBLY be affecting the climate?

Get some popcorn because you will witness a contortionist act like you’ve never seen before as they bend and twist facts and figures to try to ‘answer’ your quesitons

The thing is, there is an endless supply of liberals and young Americans who take what they say on faith, without critical thought. In fact, many of them are not capable of critical thinking. They aren’t stupid, just tend to vapor lock their brain when science is mentioned. So they just hear consensus and settled science, and they fall for it hook, line, and sinker.

Fortunately there are a lot of Americans who know junk science when they see it. That is why Obama is so desperate for a big win on global warming before he leaves. These people have prevented him from the kind of success he had with Obamacare.

Obama must be getting incredible pressure from his handlers and masters at the UN. They must be riding him hard to get America to commit to a ridiculous reduction in energy use.
