MADISON Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker denies he's a career politician even though he has been in elected office since he was 25 years old and first ran for office when he was 22.
The 47-year-old Republican presidential contender said in an interview with CNBC, released Tuesday, that he is "just a normal guy" and rejects the career politician label despite being in politics for most of his adult life.
"A career politician, in my mind, is somebody who's been in Congress for 25 years," Walker said.

Gov. Walker has been fading, according to the media and some polls. Making weasley comments like this won't help his situation.
As I've mentioned before, Walker has done a great job in Wisconsin but he is not ready for prime time and it shows.

If you have been in an elected office more than half your life you are DEFINITELY a career politician.

Walker is having full blown identity crisis on the national stage. I’ve voted for him and liked the guy. This is painful to watch. He should shut up, drop out of race, and spend a month at the spa with an umbrella drink. Don’t come out until he figures out who he is and what he’s doing. I sincerely doubt he can even be reelected as governor if he keeps this up.
To: rabidralph
I like him, but that is delusional. He needs to drop out any figure his next option.

Walker is killing off his candidacy with stupid comments like these. People want honesty, not Clintonisms.

Apparently it’s increasingly rare to have a career in the USA . Walker has done well in Wisc. Unfortunately he appears to br a GOPee shill in his current run.

Yep, 25 years is considered a threshold for retirement in many positions.

Walker spent the first 25 years of life outside of government, dammit, making him a plausible outsider.
