U.S. Ambassador Brett McGurk said that 17,000 Syrian refugees have applied to enter the U.S. and that the nation will likely take in “more” of them next year.
“We took in about 1,500 last year. We think we’ll take in more next year,” McGurk, who serves as the deputy special presidential envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL, said Sunday on Meet the Press with Chuck Todd.
McGurk’s comments came in response to Todd’s question about whether the U.S. would increase the number of refugees it takes in from Syria.
“The United States takes in more refugees than any country around the world. We took in about 70,000 refugees last year, 20,000 asylum seekers. We have about 17,000 Syrian refugee applicants now to come into the U.S.,” he said.

And how many are not really Syrians even, as there’s a lucrative market right now for fake Syrian passports?
Or is Syria being used as a launch pad for the invasion of Europe and elsewhere by ISIS?
You could probably count in the tens, how many white South Africans have been allowed to immigrate to the US. Nations like the US don’t want to admit that genocide is in practice against white South Africans, it would expose all the lies they’re telling about the wonderful, peaceful, post-apartheid South Africa if they gave white South African asylum.
Has it been even a year since ISIS announced its plan to do just that, overwhelm Europe and the US with muzzies, and use them to enact a campaign of terror? I know it was in the news for about a second, then just dropped out of the news. As evil as I believe Hussein to be, I really believe that he’d be onboard with allowing this to happen.
If he wasn't somehow actively funding and promoting it. Recall, that the MB is heavily represented in DHS and Intelligence agencies.
