Immigration: When Donald Trump proposed mandatory deportation of illegal aliens, pundits and politicians on both sides of the political aisle were appalled. But on this issue it looks like Trump has the public on his side.
The fire from the right was almost as fierce as that from the left. "It's not conservative and it's not realistic and it does not embrace American values," said Jeb Bush.
Sen. Lindsey Graham called it "absolute gibberish."
Conservative commentator Charles Krauthammer called the idea "crackpot" and "morally obscene."
But the prize for overheated rhetoric goes to Hillary Clinton, who said Trump wants to "literally pull people out of their homes and their workplaces, round them up, put them, I don't know, in buses, boxcars, in order to take them across our border."
So what do these folks say about the fact that the majority of Americans back Trump on this?
The latest IBD/TIPP Poll asked 913 adults coast to coast if they "support or oppose mandatory deportation of illegal immigrants in the U.S." Not surprisingly, 87% of Trump supporters back the proposal.
What's surprising is that 59% of the overall public does as well. Mandatory deportation gets majority support in all age groups except 18-24, every income group, among both women and men, at every level of educational achievement, and in rural, urban and suburban regions.
More interesting still is the fact that 64% of independents and 55% of moderates support deportation.
Even among Hispanics, the poll found 40% backed mandatory deportation

One group that he isn’t indebted to is big (corporate) donors...and the others are. Do we know every single thing about this man? No, of course not. But the exact same thing applies to each and every person running for president, ever. Yes, I would be much more comfortable if we knew more about Trump at this point. But right now, he is the single candidate who has come out 100% against illegal immigration and for the idea of deporting as many illegals as is practical. Unless and until we do what he has promised to do, the very survival of our nation is at risk.
I very firmly believe that General Patton was correct when he stated that the perfect is the enemy of the good. He, of course, was speaking in the context of battle plans. However, that concept is readily adaptable to politics. If you sit around and wait for the perfect candidate, you will never get him. Reagan understood well that politics is not an all-or-nothing game. He advised that if you get 70% of what you originally wanted, you should take it and run away. It is difficult to disregard the advice of these two brilliant man.
Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.
In 1954 Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexicans. The program was called Operation Wetback. It was done so WWII and Korean War veterans would have a better chance at jobs.

Well put; we must choose carefully. People can’t be lulled into complacency believing that they have until 2050 to right this; that nonsensical date (probably based on 1950s birth rates) when Anglos should be a minority in this country is more likely to arrive by 2020. For blacks this doom arrived 10 years earlier than projected; the Hispanics that were supposed to surpass them in numbers by 2010 had already done so by 2000 (and there is nothing they can do about it at this point; politically, Hispanics are the favored minority-du-jour, and nobody will stop the masses of reinforcements that arrive daily).

Let’s do it!
Perhaps the next president can call the program "Operation Went Back"?
DRINK!
Another example of mainstream Republican officeholders siding with the Left over the Right and even centrists.
Well this combat vet cannot get work in Texas for not speaking Spanish
So...

You win the Internet.
Operation Wentback
Some say you cannot deport 25 million or more illegal aliens. Those examples say you can. How would anyone today know? They have not tried.
I don’t doubt we have the ability to remove them; there is simply no political will to do so. Stalin relocated people in numbers like this, and with a lot less money/technology to do so...
Has this been rescinded/sunsetted, or is it still technically in effect?
Yep, and all the Lefty Obafuks and progressive Rerublikans seem to forget. We do NOT. :-)
I’d like to thank the academy, my mom and dad, my children and all of you wonderful people, you love me! You rilly rilly love me!!!
This is a shock poll?
People don't want to believe this, but Hispanics that have been here for generations and those that are from other countries but are here legally do not support illegal immigration. Those that I talk to are more opposed to it than most people, not less.
I don't really care how they're kicked out, I just want them kicked out. If we have to send them out using military transport planes and old zipline parachutes, so be it. As long as they're out of the country.
The problem's liberals are so insecure about who they are that they're afraid to ‘appear’ as anything other than saintly. I suspect it's compensation for what horrible people they are inside...
Modern day politicians are afraid to try - that’s the problem.
Please check out the first two minutes of the link big red ... it shows the parameters of the problem:
