He should. He can join Graham in the asterisk category.
Pull RINO votes from Yeb, cool!
Jump Mitt, jump! The more RINOs the better.
Oh gawd, please no.
Oh that classic LMAO
I still saying OH Hell No Mitt
I thought he already said he didn’t really want to be president after the last “election”.
I thought that’s why they brought Kasich in, because Jeb was losing. So now there’s talk of Romney because Jeb is losing and Kasich can’t gain. Has anyone considered that Republicans are sick of the moderates, progressives, rinos and the GOP-E? We already have 17 why not 18? I read today that probably 9 of them were in to split Conservative votes in key states, I believe it.
For God’s sake, Mitt, sit down.
If he jumps, it will be to ignominious failure.
“Why not? Worked so well in 2008 and 2012.”
Actually it hasn’t worked since 1988.
In 1988 George H.W. Bush ran, not as a moderate globalist, but as the third term of Reagan conservatism. He won the election and immediately purged the Reaganites from senior positions in the party and administration. He also reneged on his no new tax pledge to the voters. In 1992, running on his own record, he lost.
In 1996 the GOPe ran Robert Dole, a moderate. He lost.
In 2000 the GOPe ran George W. Bush. While a moderate at heart, like his father he tried to run as a conservative but under the label “compassionate conservative.” Bush lost the national popular vote by 2 million votes but won in the Electoral College. If Gore had obtained a number fewer than 1000 votes in Florida Gore would have won the Electoral College vote as well as the popular vote. The key point here is the RINO candidate could not win the popular vote.
In 2004, Bush had the advantage of incumbency, and an inept patrician opponent, yet won the popular vote by the narrowest margin for a winner in modern history.
In 2008, the GOPe candidate (McCain), who often voted with Democrats as a US Senator, lost. Same in 2012 with Romney, former governor of a very liberal state with a very liberal record.
The American people consistently vote against moderate to liberal country club Republicans. How many times does the party have to lose to understand what the voters are telling them? Or is it intentional?
As far as I’m concerned he can jump into the ocean...from a plane at 30,000 feet with no chute.
I don't know... I'm thinking Romney would easily boost Trump's average poll numbers by 5% if he jumped in.
And just think of all the GOP-e donor money he'd soak up. Might not be such a bad deal after all.
Go CRUZ!!! Reedeem your self and donate to Cruz
Keep it up Trump!
