A Response to Free Republic Trump Critics
Vanity

Posted on 08/31/2015 12:43:37 AM PDT by Behind the Blue Wall

Why Trump?

1. Illegal immigration is the only issue; if it's not stopped soon, America will become like California -- a demographic one-party state.

2. Politics is about name-recognition and none of the other candidates besides Trump has the name recognition to challenge Jeb Bush or Hillary Clinton.

Therefore, Trump is the only candidate with a chance to win who has promised to do the only thing that matters.

I currently support Trump. Formerly I supported Cruz. I was appalled when Cruz joined with Beck to visit the border and distribute soccer balls and teddy bears. If you can show me a candidate who has spoken out specifically and forcefully re the devastation American citizens are enduring at the hands of the foreign invaders, who acknowledges that open borders equals loss of sovereignty, hence loss of country, and who has vowed to put a halt to the foreign invasion, I’ll be delighted to consider giving that candidate my full support.

Caveat: the solution must not involve teddy bears and soccer balls

CW, you and I have discussed Walker before the fact of Walker’s superpac hiring Brad Dayspring is an absolute disqualifier for me. I’m not going to rehash the reasons why. I’ve been through all that already.

If there was store which sold charisma, Walker would be a good candidate. Without charisma, Walker is toast in a national election. Outside of Wisconsin, few people know Walker. If Walker can’t win 1st or close 2nd in neighboring state of Iowa, he is El Adios.

Comparing Obama with Trump is like comparing an Elephant with a rat because both have tails.

If you do not understand that Obama could not run a small hot dog stand efficiently enough to eek out a small profit, and then compare him with Trump who has made $10,000,000,000.00 in REAL WORLD MAIN STREET ECONOMY, then I am afraid you are exposing your lack of understanding of economic and fiscal issues.

People like Buffet, Soros & Hedge fund managers make money by shuffling paper. They do not manufacture anything, build anything. Trump made his money by employing real people in real main street economy.

Politifact?

Really?

Are you sure you’re not a closet liberal?

‘STUDY: Politifact says Republicans lie more
By DYLAN BYERS 05/29/13, 08:01 AM EDT
The fact-checking organization PolitiFact has found Republicans to be less trustworthy than Democrats, according to a new study.

Fifty-two percent of Republican claims reviewed by the Tampa Bay Times fact-checking operation were rated “mostly false,” “false” or “pants on fire,” versus just 24 percent of Democratic statements, according to George Mason University’s Center for Media and Public Affairs. By the same token, 54 percent of Democratic statements were rated as “mostly true” or “true,” compared to just 18 percent of Republican statements.’

Good grief, are you that ignorant? Ever heard of the word “ratings”? Trump brings all of the MSM great ratings, and thus money. Follow the money. Geez, stupid is as stupid is.

Many a candidates campaign has been derailed by the media simply not covering them. "IF" the media wants Da Donald gone out of sight and out of mind they will cut coverage. As for ratings? LOL really? MSNBC has the most dismal coverage of any news network. News Networks are Political Agenda Driven not profit driven. The parent corporation's huge profits come from other parts of their companies. Fox News is GOP-E agenda driven and their line up of Moderates they call Conservatives are a great example. The others are Liberal.

There is no Conservative News Network on Cable or satellite. Now you know why FAUX News covers Trump when he passes gas and not Cruz as such. The last person to attempt a television network with a Conservative format was the late Paul Weyrich back in the mid to late 1990's. Our elections since the late 1980's have been strictly media oligarchy beauty pageants and not ones based on issues or platforms.

You wanted a list, I gave you a list. If you choose to poison the well and not bother to look at the list that’s on you. You now have plenty of information to realize that the guy you’re backing doesn’t believe a word he says and neither should you.

I can’t believe you’re doubling down on Politifact. What will you quote next? Media Matters?

You dont have to sell me, i’m already there.

I still feel like in some kind of parallel universe but the ex Apprentice boss is the only one making sense besides Cruz, and he attracts moderates and independents.

If he wants to really solidly our vote, he’ll pick Cruz for VP.

Who he picks will say alot about how much he means what he says.

Notice how you now live entirely in the land of logical fallacy. No longer do you deny Trump lies, you now attack the person and their source. So now that we have both accepted the facts of the case, discussion is over. We both know Trump lies. All that’s left to ask about is why you’d support him.

I did not call anyone stupid, and you’re a liar if you say I did.

Other issues:

ISIS & terrorism in general.
The economy.
Gun rights.
Rights of the unborn.
Overreach of federal agencies.

Those are just a few off the top of my head. And no, they won’t “all be fixed if we just fix immigration”, so don’t even try that BS.

The bottom line is: single issue voters are low information voters. You don’t have to like it, but it is a fact.

I just checked Politifact’s Obama File. Guess what? He’s more honest than all the Republican candidate’s put together.

At this moment we seem to be headed down the same road that “Mad Max” had taken and it frightens all of us. This foreigner in our oo has managed to make our country foreign to all US citizens. EVIL is the only word to describe.

Good thing you admit to being a fantasy writer, because you’re putting a lot of effort into fleeing from facts. He’s a liar. I know it. You know it. Discussion is done, your next reply will be ignored. Have fun voting for a known liar, and when he turns his back on every single position don’t come cryin to me.

Given the current rate of foreign invaders flooding the wide open borders, plus the number already in country, the US as a sovereign entity is already gone. If the invasion isn’t checked soon, and the damage already done reversed as much as possible, no other issues will matter. The US as it once existed will be a thing of the past.

People say this kind of stuff and respectfully ask why. Under our system, no one has absolute power. Or at least no one is supposed to. But on the Supret Court, Cruz literally as one of 9 people has 11% of the influence on things. He will be on the winning side on some things and on the losing side on others. And when we have Dems appointing Justices he will be outnumbered. How much influence did Scalia and Thomas have on Obamacare or gay marriage? Similarly, one person wants Cruz to be majority leader of the Senate. Given the current crop of GOPers who happily vote for Boehner and Mitch as leaders, when exactly does this fantasy happen?
