Life was no doubt brutal at prep school in Hawaii. The fact his grandmother was the vice-president of the biggest bank in Hawaii only slightly ameliorated the crushing oppression under which this poor African American child grew up.

Read his words carefully. He “sympathized with the persecution” of the Jewish people and not that he “sympathized with the Jewish people because of the persecution they have endured”. He’s a Muslim communist and the words mean exactly what they are supposed to say .... he sympathizes with the Nazis, Muslim hordes, etc.
