Trump reverses on Kelly: 'She was very nice'
Washington Examiner ^ | 8/26/15 | Eddie Scarry

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump may be ready to finally call it quits on the Megyn Kelly trash talking.

Trump said in a radio interview with Laura Ingraham on Wednesday that he watched Kelly's Fox News show the previous evening and that he liked it "very much."

"Actually I watched her show last night, she was very nice and I appreciated it," Trump said of the Fox anchor he has criticized since the network's GOP presidential debate in early August.

Asked if he was done with the fight, Trump said that he is and that he had spoken with Fox CEO Roger Ailes.

"Roger Ailes is great," Trump said. "Roger Ailes is a special guy. He's a good friend of mine. We just spoke two minutes ago and Roger Ailes is a great guy and no, I have no problem and I actually liked her show very much last night, if you want to know the truth."

Trump's feud with Kelly goes back to the first Republican presidential debate, hosted by Fox in early August. There, Kelly asked him to defend his previous public comments about some women being "pigs" and other disparaging things. Trump went on a media tour after, charging that Kelly's questions of him were "unfair."

When Kelly went on a vacation thereafter, Trump said in interviews and on social media that it was probably because he attacked her. When she returned to her show on Monday, Trump posted negative messages on Twitter about her and her performance.

Ailes released a statement Wednesday calling on Trump to apologize for his comments about Kelly but Trump has declined, maintaining instead that Kelly should be the one to apologize to him.

A spokesperson for Fox did not return a request for comment.

LOL! “skunk”!

It is curious that Cruz is connected to one and that his composed disposition could use a little passion and volume.
Think what Trump would do if he also had all of Cruz’ broad intelligence and legal experience. Fire works!

We would cancel the primary and just go ahead and elect him. Am I wrong?

Better he just learn to tweet a little more carefully.

You are kind, and yes, that's a good idea. :)

“Not completely true, though; we care how everyone is treated. In fact, it’s a good way to “judge” people; how they treat the “least of these.” -Matt 25:40”

Tens of thousands of people, maybe even over 100,000 people have worked for Trump. I’m still waiting for that first person to step forward and say he was unfair.

Jose Ramos works for THE MEDIA. He is FAIR GAME for any candidate when he acts like a jerk.

That’s what I’m worried about, though; he’s like a sledgehammer when a fine tool of precision is needed.

I had been schizophrenic on Megyn. I was revolted when she started. Could not stand her.

Then I watched her, and over time I was drawn in to all the excitement, her guests, the confrontations— especially against liberals. Now she has reverted to the way she came in— a flaming, hyperactive, out of control female who is a control freak par’ excellance, dedicated to Megyn and to Megyn making history.

She has certainly done that lately. :)

Kiawah is indeed magical. My dear bride and I fell in love with the island over 30 years ago and the romance continues to this day! I grew up on the Outer Banks and love seafood. Kiawah and Johns Island have some of the best anywhere!

Nicaragua! Sounds wonderful! Enjoy!!! 8^)

There are men all over the world waiting for apologies from women, and they are waiting for them in divorce court. Men who apologize to women, however, no matter the infraction, and who was responsible or not as the case may be, oftentimes have marriages tallied in decades, not years.

No wonder the institution of marriage is in the toilet.

Hmm, Kelly’s vacation...perhaps she needed an emergency bastardectomy. ;)

Ha! Funny! You're right! The best marriages have chivalrous men at the helm, imo. If someone would ask Trump's previous wives, how many times he said, "I'm sorry," I bet [after they stopped laughing], the number might be none.

This isn't brain surgery. All of the other choices are tools. We need an individual that understands success and has the drive to achieve it.
