The narrative that Obama voters are natural Trump supporters is so ridiculous. About the only thing they haven’t tried now, is that he will order all major U. S. citizen destroy by nuclear weapons on the first day.

Think of all we know about Obama, and then think that Obama supporters who have stood by him enough to vote for him a second time, are natural Trump supporters.

I’d hire Trump to do any job before I hired Obama. But this shows, as many interviews have, that people are supporting Trump based on emotion and his personality, not based on a concrete idea of what policies they want him to pass.

Obama was a cult of personality, Trump is a cult of personality, except Trump has a track record that doesn’t consist of simply voting present.
It is not surprising that folks enamored by a cult of personality would easily flip to someone else even if they were diametrically opposed ideologically because their support was never based in ideology.
