The Planned Parenthood abortion business has filed a lawsuit against the state of Louisiana after Governor Bobby Jindal made the decision to yank its taxpayer funding. Jindal cut Planned Parenthoods funding after a national scandal involving the abortion company selling the body parts of aborted babies.
When Louisiana cut Planned Parenthood fnuding Jindals office said, Governor Jindal and DHH decided to give the required 30-day notice to terminate the Planned Parenthood Medicaid provider contract because Planned Parenthood does not represent the values of the State of Louisiana in regards to respecting human life. Pending the ongoing investigation, DHH reserves the right to amend the cancellation notice and terminate the provider agreement immediately should cause be determined.
The governor said the state health department has concerns that Planned Parenthood could be acting in violation of Louisiana law that states no person or group contracting with the state or receiving government assistance shall require or recommend that any woman have an abortion. The state investigation into Planned Parenthood remains ongoing.
Now, according to a report in The Hill, a Congressional newspaper, Planned Parenthood has filed a lawsuit against the state:
In a lawsuit filed Tuesday, Planned Parenthood asks a federal court to block what it describes as Jindals illegal efforts to strip away the Medicaid funding that helps run their clinics.
Were in court today to protect over 5,200 peoples access to cancer screenings, well-woman exams, and basic health care in Louisiana, Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, said in a statement, citing the number of women enrolled through Medicaid who use the providers services.
She blasted Jindals efforts against Planned Parenthood, which she said will ensure womens cancer will get worse before its caught and that HIV and other infections will spread.
After Louisiana and other states yanked taxpayer funding, the Obama administration threatened them but Louisiana officials indicated they would stand their ground.
Mike Reed, a spokesman for Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R), indicated the state and its Department of Health and Hospitals (DHH) are standing by its decision. He cited a provision in the state Medicaid contract allowing either party to cancel it at will, with 30 days notice.
CMS reached out to DHH after we canceled the Medicaid provider contract with Planned Parenthood, Reed said. DHH explained to CMS why the state chose to exercise our right to cancel the contract without cause.
Last week, pro-life Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal expertly trolled the pro-Planned Parenthood protestors who showed up to the governors mansion to protest his decision to cut Planned Parenthood funding and investigate the abortion business for selling aborted babies.
Jindal played on a loop all of the seven expose videos showing how the abortion company sells the body parts of aborted babies. But the Planned Parenthood protesters refused to watch them apparently the truth was too much to take. On Twitter, Jindal responded to them and how they refused to view the videos.
Meanwhile, two committees in the House of Representatives have already launched investigations of Planned Parenthood. One committee is looking into whether or not the abortion business is breaking federal law by altering abortion procedures to better obtain aborted baby body parts for sale. Another committee, among other things, is investigating the Obama administration and whether there is any connection between it and the abortion giant.
The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform wants to know if the Obama administration, via the Department of Health and Human Services, provided any federal grants to Planned Parenthood that ultimately went to pay for the sales of aborted baby body parts and if they were used by Planned Parenthood to support transactions involving fetal tissue.
The expose videos catching Planned Parenthood officials selling the body parts of aborted babies have shocked the nation.
As LifeNews reported, the first video of undercover footage shows Planned Parenthood Federation of Americas Senior Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted unborn children and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts.
In the second video, Planned Parenthood doctor Mary Gatter discusses the pricing of aborted baby body parts telling the biotech company officials that the prices for such things as a babys liver, head or heart are negotiable. She also tells the officials that she could talk with the Planned Parenthood abortion practitioners to potentially alter the abortion procedure to kill the baby in a way that would best preserve those body parts after the unborn child is killed in the abortion.
So far, 12 states have responded to the Planned Parenthood videos and launched investigations into their abortion and organ harvesting business including South Carolina, Florida, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia, Texas and Louisiana. The district attorney in Houston Texas is also investigating after the Houston-based Planned Parenthood abortion facility was caught selling aborted babies.
Congress has expanded its investigation into the Planned Parenthood abortion business and five states have revoked taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthoods abortion business, including Utah, Arkansas, Alabama, New Hampshire and Louisiana and Iowas governor has ordered a review of Planned Parenthood funding.
The full, unedited videos have confirmed that revelations that some aborted baby remains sold by Planned Parenthood go to biotech companies for the purpose of creating humanized mice. Meanwhile, Planned Parenthood has been exposed as having sold body parts from aborted babies for as much as 15 years.
The federal law that technically prohibits the sale of aborted babies and their body parts was written by a pro-abortion Congressman decades ago and essentially spells out a process by which sellers of aborted baby body parts can meet certain criteria that allows the sales to be legal. Thats why a Colorado congressman has introduced legislation to totally ban the sales of aborted baby body parts.
The courts should not have power over this type of funding decision it is the purvue of the legislature and the governor.
All of which are provided by other outlets who do not need tax money, and are all covered for the poor and needy by ObamaCare
Throw this fake case out.
Where in the Constitution does it say that Planned Parenthood is entitled to taxpayer subsidies?
If he were my Governor, I would support him and let PP know they don’t need to be in our state....
I wished Utah would do that, but it won’t....
The state shoud fine PP for this frivolous lawsuit.

Excellent question. I’d love EVERY member of Congress to answer it.
Come on....you know the courts write laws these days.
Really? So the Mormons are on board with Planned Parenthood? I would have thought that of all states, Utah would want nothing to do with the used baby body part business.
None of these places actually do any medical screenings or mammograms, its all referred out to other places.
Can I force the government to give me money too... heh
Nowhere. They are trying to claim they cant be defunded because they get medicare funds for things they do at the clinics.
PP is here, dammit
Exactly!!
I don’t think they do that here, or at least haven’t heard that, yet...
I just think they need to shut down PP completely....obumacare has an abortion clause in it, so why should any state have PP?
With obamacare there is no need for taxpayer funds to planned babyiller.

Contractually viable means of termination of said contract. Suite dismissed. Next case.
