Former reality television star and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump taunted his rival Sen. Lindsey Graham on Tuesday over a recent poll that showed the senator way behind in Graham's home state.
The taunt was spurred by a poll released Tuesday which found Trump led South Carolina among likely GOP voters.
Trump eagerly shared his poll results on Twitter:

The Monmouth University poll found Trump receiving 30 percent support from likely Republican primary voters with his closest competitor, former neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson, at 15 percent.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush polled at 9 percent, followed by Florida Sen. Marco Rubio and former technology executive Carly Fiorina at 6 percent. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz polled at 5 percent.
Graham and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker were tied at 4 percent each.
The poll was conducted from August 20 to 23 by telephone among 453 South Carolina residents likely to vote in the Republican primary in February. The margin of error was plus or minus 4.6 percent.

When it comes to corrupt little weasels like the lovely Lindsey, I like the no class approach.
But I would prefer the literal kick ass approach.
I believe the ONLY reason Linda entered the race was to prevent Cruz from winning SC.
None of the Bushes have ever played well in IA so I suspect the GOPe were allowing for a possible Cruz victory there. They therefore wanted to assure Cruz wouldn’t build up a head of steam going into the SEC primary by having 2 wins under his belt.
Of course all these calculations were made before the bull enter the China shop...
Those of you who think this jab by Trump was “un-presidential”, or out of line, ponder this...
The 16 other GOP candidates are not Trump’s allies. They are his RIVALS. Each are trying to gain the same nomination he is. Trump clearly wants it, and will do what it takes to achieve it. And people want someone like that, judging from his consistant rise in the polls. (With the exception of some of the petunias here on FR)
Once he picks off each rival one by one and secures the nomination, he will turn his attention to the Dems, and whatever loser they coronate.
Until then, sit back and enjoy the ride. And if you continue to feel offended by what he does or says, then by all means join the Jeb! followers. He’s all about “acts of love”.

Yeah, it’s a bit childish. But again, Trump is not the one who has turned the American political scene into one big kindergarten.
Graham’s (other) dirty secret is that he depends greatly on the widespread Democrat participation in the SC GOP primary in order to hold on to his seat. The Dem party is so weak here that very large numbers of Dems cast votes in the GOP primary because that’s their only way to affect the election outcome.

I saw Linda Graham taunting Trump about a month ago or so. He managed to wiggle in “you’re fired!!”. He also slanders Trump supporters. Does Linda have more class?

I think there are a lot here that like the “politickin’” and as such have forgotten that we have no fighters left; they all bowed out to PC terms and conditions not to mention the corruption and constantly apologizing for offending some “class” of citizen. Its my belief that many like seeing Trump slap around the DC panty waists; the politicians are the problem in the country and everyone knows it. It is a nice change of pace to see the politicians (and media) having absolutely NO CLUE how to handle an American who is not bought and paid for.
Linda is only in the race to deny a conservative a springboard across the south. Surely the power brokers in GOPe™ were convinced that home state senator Grahamnesty would carry the SC primary and keep conservative momentum from gaining traction. Too bad.
This does sound more like a push back, now that you relate the context.
“Answer a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own eyes.” If Trump kept this up to all comers whether they asked for it or not, that would be another matter. But it doesn’t look like it here.
We are reminded he only does this to his/our enemies.
