No need for name calling, but your point on deterrence is valid. The fact remains that he cannot deport all the illegal aliens. That is a promise he knows he cannot keep. Isn’t the point of some of the anger with the establishment that they do not keep their promises?
What do you do with the ones that remain? Do they get amnesty like the wonderful ones that he is going to expedite bringing back into the country. To bad you can’t admit my point on amnesty is correct.
All I am asking is that a little thought be put into all the candidates positions. The shame is when you try you get flamed. Too bad, this should be a place where people can exchange ideas.

You didn’t answer the point on Trump proposing amnesty. Too bad you cannot use intellect but have to resort to name calling.
AZ’S 1070 cracked down on the goodies and people were leaving AZ on their own in droves. Mexican consulates were lined up with people getting their papers in order so they could get their kids enrolled in Mexican schools when they got back. They were whining all over the news about needing to leave and not being able to survive without all the bennies.
You have to create a legitimate deterrent to crime. You don't start out by saying we can't deport everyone. That is giving up before you even start.

Another issue Trump is right on; they would self deport with their American born children....
Arrest the illegal parents and put them in a detention center. The process to contest takes two years. Give them the option to have their anchor children to join them in the detention center or they go to foster care.
Then they face a choice, they can spend the next two years in detention watching their case proceed through the legal system where they will lose or accept a immediate bus ride back to Mexico. If they choose to fight extradition and lose, they can never return. If they take the bus back with their family, we would consider a expedited return based on need.
How many would stay in detention? My guess is more than 90% would be on the bus...
BTW...this is perfectly legal under current law....this would reduce cost and help keep the cases out of the courts.
Strict labor enforcement would keep them out of the workforce...not legal..no job...The only income they would have is welfare payments from their anchor babies...which runs the US Taxpayer approx. $72K/year per family (number includes administrative cost)
No money...no jobs...strict deportation enforcement....a lot will self deport....There is precedent during the 1950’s when a similar program was run....

Sorry I was incorrect. The 250,000 was the largest number of non-criminal deportations in a year. The record of total deportation is 438,000. But that is 2013 and I have read that Obama has been playing with the number to make it look like he is deporting large numbers. Still at 438,000 it would take 25 years.

How many of them meet Trump’s wonderful index? This part of his plan sounds an awful lot like amnesty to me.
