A national fraternity has suspended its activities at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia amid uproar over sexually suggestive signs posted as parents dropped off their recent high school graduates.
A private home across the street from the university's campus hung banners that read "Freshman daughter drop-off," with an arrow pointing to the front door, "Hope your baby girl is ready for a good time ..." and "Go ahead and drop off Mom too."
Several members of the fraternity Sigma Nu live in the house.
The banners generated outrage on social media and condemnation from university officials and student leaders.
In a statement, Sigma Nu's national organization said any fraternity members found responsible will be held accountable.
Sigma Nu says it condemns what it calls derogatory and demeaning language that was used on the banners.

It is pretty funny actually. However, I highly doubt those teen boys can provide these poor girls an actual good time, lol.
“Last year I looks at the student events website...”
College man, huh? All five years?
aroused ‘outrage”????????????
kids will be kids, this appears to be a very tame fraternity gag
(when I walked in as a possible pledge (new member) at a fraternity, many many moons ago .... I was only there a day or two before I re-met my high school music teacher (he was an excellent teacher, for whatever its worth). He was a regular at the fraternity... making use of the boys for pornographic sex movies he was filing there (so the boys didn’t have to leave their residence in order to perform, so to speak, gainful employment ... albeit in homosexual flicks so maybe their parents might not have completely approved)
anyway, I left the frat. And thus, probably gave up a very promising movie career (especially given my super-sized qualifications and outstanding skills in that particular film genre)

a few harmless signs should not engender ‘outrage”
USA needs to grow up a bit (yes, the kids are acting like kids, but all the compainers don’t all have to act like babies when kids put up a couple silly signs)
Sadly true.
Haha! Very well done!!
The signs don’t need to go on.
Humans will be humans, but we can do better than hang signs like that.
Gee, what a horrible crime. They should have just looted and burned a drugstore. Frat lives matter.
At Wellesley you don’t get your money back.
Agreed. On both counts.
It is indeed shockingly low character and I sure wouldn’t want anyone I care for to be in an environment with such louts. Signs of the times...
Agreed.
I agree. If parents can’t take a joke, then they won’t know who to warn their kids about.
In this day and age...the signs are probably the same. :-)
Just having a little fun at the expense of the no-sense-of-humor crowd...
No one ever lost money betting that fraternity boys will always find the lowest common denominator in humor.
Why are professional comedians forgiven when they stretch the bounds of sexual humor?
I know some won’t play college venues any more because of the blue noses and those who claim victimhood by “vocal agression”
This could be a learning experience for the incoming freshwomen(?)freshpersons (?).
Moms should say, “See that. That’s why I warned you about fraternity men and parties. Stay away.”
Of course, that will only pique the interest of a lot of the young ladies who will want to experience the ‘good times.”
