Hmmm. A Sorority posting the *same* signs...

A national fraternity has suspended its activities at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia amid uproar over sexually suggestive signs posted as parents dropped off their recent high school graduates.
A private home across the street from the university's campus hung banners that read "Freshman daughter drop-off," with an arrow pointing to the front door, "Hope your baby girl is ready for a good time ..." and "Go ahead and drop off Mom too."
Several members of the fraternity Sigma Nu live in the house.
The banners generated outrage on social media and condemnation from university officials and student leaders.
In a statement, Sigma Nu's national organization said any fraternity members found responsible will be held accountable.
Sigma Nu says it condemns what it calls derogatory and demeaning language that was used on the banners.

When I was in college (1976), My frat brothers and I would watch the Homecoming Parade pass our frat house front porch while we were drinkng beer in our underwear.
Maybe it's a "dog whistle."

Was on a small conference call today and one of the participants said many years ago they had a sign in front of their frat house at the start of the fall semester that said that said “PARENTS, SURRENDER YOUR DAUGHTERS...”
Is that a tree between those two signs or is a guy laying on his back barfing into the air?

I, along with several of my brothers, would take up positions outside the freshman women’s dorms on check-in day and offer to help carry their stuff in as a courtesy.
The young ladies thought we were wonderful, and it got us off on the right foot with their parents, as well.
I guess it would have been OK if they were asking for the sons and the dads with rainbow flags waving? lol
Liberals have lost their ability to judge and discriminate or to discern between good and bad or serious and humorous.
Yeah, somebody joking about molesting my wife and daughter does not elicit a laugh from me. I do feel sorry for them though, because being feral never ends well for anybody. Being a gentleman gets laughed at today, but it is one of the fundamental building blocks of any decent civilization. These kids have been raised on tv and it has warped their humanity.

I don’t think this is true, but I’m not going to debate it. Either way, the death of both the gentleman and the lady is a tragedy. Now the relationship between the sexes is just a warzone and everybody gets hurt.
I graduated from ODU, too - and I’m a woman. When I saw this a few days ago I thought it was hilarious. Having lived on campus several years ago, and, I’ll admit it, having frequented similar “frat houses” - I’m sure these signs just made more freshman women show up out of curiosity. Their goal was achieved. This is harmless college humor.
