Fox News Megyn Kelly seems to see herself as an alpha female capable of taking on any and all opposition male or female. Yet, when set against the unadulterated masculine intellectual powers and cunning of Donald Trump, it was not a fair fight. She was overpowered to the point of speechlessness and had to take a 10-day vacation to lick her wounds. When the ladies operate within a protective penumbra of political correctness in a highly feminized culture of girly men, it is pretty easy to win intellectual pillow fights.

Could Trump be America’s Putin?
Donald Trump is about a much of a” self made man” as Charles Windsor.
He admitted it. He donated, she came to his wedding. I’m sure you probably had a few liberals at your wedding as well.
I’m not sure how you think a description of what bone spurs are is a response.
Try this:
Explain how Trump’s “bone spurs” were so bad that he couldn’t join the military and had to dodge the draft, but was fine for college baseball and squash.
You admit you’d be a draft dodger like Trump.
Would you have gone to Canada, or would you have gotten a doctor to lie for you so that some other mother’s son would have gone in your place?
See, that’s the thing about draft dodgers: it isn’t just that you cheated and didn’t go. It is never that simple. It is that another man went because you didn’t.
I'm not sure what there is to "admit" here. The information was out there for everyone to see, and it makes me question his credibility and his judgment. And it sure doesn't make him a "warrior male extraordinaire" by any stretch.
I'm no fan of Trump, but that's a poor argument to make. If everyone dodged the draft then those @ssholes in Washington who got the U.S. involved in that stupid, pointless sh!t would have had to go fight the war themselves.
I truly enjoyed reading this post.
George S Patton.
Funny that you're so knowledgeable about war.
My dad was there, served honorably, and came back swearing he would never criticize anyone who avoided that clusterf@ck, and would do everything in his power to prevent any of his children from being subjected to such incompetence.
Like there's any shortage of THOSE on this thread.
I'm glad cliches aren't actually toxic.
Patton was NOTHING like Trump. Did he constantly get into hysterical petty feuds? With people like Rosie O'Donnell? You need to seriously learn more about Patton if you think he was a freak like that.
Dad said he and his guys found SO MANY dead marines with that stick in their barrel he could never believe no one went to jail for the M-16.
Yup.
The State forcing me, at the point of a gun, to go somewhere we had no business being and fighting because some politician somewhere thought it was a good idea is more immoral than "dodging" the draft.
Trump is appealing to women because he’s a man’s man and not some wimpy metrosexual that acts like a girl and tries to get rid of all his body hair cause some girl told him it was “gross”. Real mean have body hair. Real women like strong, confident and yes, politically incorrect men that tell it like it is and say what they mean. Real men don’t say, I’ll ask my aid and get back later.
Would be nice to have beauty back in the WH.
No one is asked their opinion of going.
They are simply asked to go.
Your dad was there.
My dad was there (two wars).
My father in law was there.
My uncles were there.
My grandfather was there (WWII).
Relatives on both sides of our families in every war since the American Revolution.
The man who gave me my first job was there (two wars).
I have relatives there (Middle East) now, including a Ranger.
We have neighbors and friends and cousins and local citizens there now. We live amidst several bases.
Men and women are always “there”.
I’ve been to funerals for people who made it back from “there” and resumed life, and for those who did not.
One of my earliest memories was being given a doll from Vietnam by a relative returning. My dad and I had seen him off before he went.
Another memory was the brother of an uncle by marriage coming home and not being able to handle it. His funeral was hard.
Not many people want to go, but everyone knows that if you don’t go, someone goes for you.
That has always been the way it has worked. You go, or another mother’s son goes.
This is one of the most astute, best informed analyses of the Trump phenomenon that has yet appeared. We do live in a Darwinian world, and we are subject to the same primitive mental processes that evolved over countless millenia. Our relatively thin layer of neocortical cells controls our behavior no more completely than the veneer of civilization masks our underlying animalistic nature. We can see what we gained from having a president who purports to be a philosopher-king. Now is the time for another warrior-king, like some of our past presidents who made America exceptional originally. Trump stands for the proposition that it is okay for America to be great, even if that involves continuing to outcompete those who are less capable. Ever since the Progressive Era, our nation has increasingly recoiled from Social Darwinism in favor of the Social Gospel in its various theistic and secular manifestations. Now is the time to return to a more realistic, less suicidal balance between those two visions of who we are as a people.
