Walker's and Rubio's continuous flip-flopping on illegal immigration have effectively taken them out of the race, and Christie has turned Cheshire Cat, slowly fading from view.

The deck is rapidly being cleared for the real men to fight it out.

When Trump had the 2500 participant townhall in NH earlier this week, Bush drew about 200 to his. CSPAN (IIRC) brief cut to one Christie was holding outside, looked like a park, with only about 40 attendees sitting on the grass.

Rumor earlier were than Christie would be dropping out by the end of August unless his campaign managed to catch fire. Apparently, they have not had to use the extinguisher yet. Maybe they can get their deposit back.

Rumor, too, that Perry’s campaign is broke and being run by unpaid volunteers.
