GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at a rally in Mobile, Alabama Friday night, August 21 beginning at approximately 6 p.m. ET. The Trump campaign moved the event from a smaller venue to a larger stadium to accommodate high demand for tickets. At least 30,000 people are expected to attend.

Trump is plowing over the same old ground, over and over, for those of us following his campaign themes from the beginning, but hopefully the repetitions are building blocks for other phases to come.
Also, there are those just tuning in and turning on to him and regions of the country to cover that will hear him for the first time so I do get it.
I had hoped he would reach out more to minorities tonight, in the South, like the black girls appearing all over the media on his behalf. There are bound to be more like them everywhere.
CNN did show him, shockingly, as he was leaving the stadium tonight telling a blonde but Hispanic girl that he was going to win the Hispanic vote, and she popped right out with, “I’ll help you!”.
I was stunned that wasn’t left on the cutting room floor!
I thought he missed an opportunity though when he had the microphone and an all Anglo audience, for the most part. It could have been a uniting moment between the races.
Meant to ping you!
You make good points, Rita.
No More Bushes for this Family..
No More Professional Politicians...
question.....
Does anyone have a photo of the crowd of the so called 28,000 that attended Bernie Sander speech...?
Just Wondering...I don’t recall having seen one. and do not recall the MSM repeat showing any...usually they will show old crowds.. over and over again..
For this speech it was a large crowd, whether 20,000 or 30,000 for that area..as for John Roberts, he was a CNN reporter and probably is a liberal..I find him sorta weird. so usually pay no attention to him...
Yes..I agree. Trump is selling himself to a disgruntled population who fully understands what he’s saying. They may not understand even why they support him because he’s hitting all the points which make up the very heart and soul of an American....they “feel” what they may not understand...and that’s just fine....this country has long been without feeling rejuvenated for a very long time.
BTW...Did you hear and understand when Trump said if we were in another country they would call for spot elections now? They wouldn’t wait. Then he said he doesn’t want to wait...he’d like the election to be tomorrow”.
I found that remarkable and very revealing....he knows he’s at a high point...this is a man who knows how to cease the moment and ‘always’ seals his deals when the irons hot. It’s ‘very’ difficult for him to let the momentum he has now to drop, as it surely will as things move along, this is a “new” challenge for him entirely.
LOL, I'm not kidding. I missed the speech so I have some catching up to do.
The president has very limited ability to change moral failings, like Planned Parenthood. Congress can make some inroads, perhaps. Here’s the way I see it, although the more politically astute here might not.
If the president is an ideologue, the opposition on either side tend to set their feet in concrete. A negotiator president, not ideologically driven, can work to offer cover to congresspersons who might not otherwise vote, for instance, against immorality.
This is vaguely how Reagan and Tip O’Neill worked in a happier and less polarized time. The polarization of today requires someone who will not be cowed by false accusations and can, again, offer cover to the more timid in the face of that kind of demagoguery.
proof that ‘retired old ladies, have nothing to do’
wishing y'all a Blessed week end..and hope the market begin to come back up beginning Monday!!!

haircutter
jeb killed Terri Schaivo. Can America be great again even if it is pagan?
You are very perceptive. :)
No, for all those things we need a Christian president.
Jimmy Carter comes to mind.
Lord, I hope so. We are agonizing for the nasty state of our country, if we can just stop the barbaric abortion industry we are funding, our Lord might be inclined to believe our nation is repenting and hear us again.
Y’know, I liked Trump’s choice of songs, “We’re not goin to take it” and Hulk Hogan’s “I Am a Real American”
Now, I am seeing how Trump’s policies and themes run through Dee Snider’s song.
The Trump campaign WAS NOT a lark pulled together over a weekend.
Trump is hitting the media, 0bama, the crappy state of domestic and foreign affairs, Political Correctness, Blacklivesmatter, Social Justice Warriors, White Privilege Guilt.
First, the opening to the song:
Oh We’re Not Gonna Take It
no, We Ain’t Gonna Take It
oh We’re Not Gonna Take It Anymore
Then you listen to the chorus of Dee’s song
we’re Right
we’re Free
we’ll Fight
you’ll See
Pretty much wraps up Trump’s challenge to everyone to follow Trump and fix this current disaster
You’re the one who said that Trump was unacceptable.
All I did was point out that without Trump the GOPe will shove their candidate down our throats.
That’s not my choice. That’s yours. You prefer the pagan to Trump.
Agreed. This is amazing.
Yes I heard that and wondered how it would be seized on by the vulture media. I understand his feelings, being the same age as he is. Fifteen months must have looked to him an eternity away, as he presented in the in nasty heat and humidity of Mobile.
For sure. But they had better wake up and smell the roses.
The media was predicting thunderstorms all day . that might have scared a lot away since it was outdoors.
still 20,000 to 30,000 to brave thunderstorms that’s awesome!
You are right saying new people who have not been following need to hear.....but equally as much you know too what is said about 'repetition'.... The public is slow at learning without repetition. Trump has to get them to "see" what he knows....he's telling them he agrees with what they know...over and over until they "believe" him. It's called building trust...building relationship with the public.
Did you see how he was 'very' fast at engaging them tonight...he genuinely enjoys them....he includes them "with" him....he looks for a response from them...and he's remarkably talented on judging the crowd. That's not easily done.
Watching Hillary is a 'perfect' example of a politician totally unengaged with the people....and can't.
