Sheriffs investigators in Los Angeles plan to push for Caitlyn Jenner to be charged with manslaughter. Kim Howe, 69, lost her life last February in a car accident, which the transgender star was the cause of.
In my opinion, I think no matter how popular you are or how much money you have, you arent above the law. In a perfect world that is how it would be, but Jenner will never see one day of the inside of any jail. Too much celebrity and fame to be put behind bars. She/he might be charged, and even convicted, but never go to jail.
Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department spokeswoman Nicole Nishida says investigators found that Jenner was driving unsafe for the prevailing road conditions because her SUV rear-ended a Lexus, pushing it into oncoming traffic.
The fatal crash occurred months before Caitlyn Jenners transition. She was formerly known as Bruce Jenner, the 1976 Olympic decathlon champion and Kim Kardashians stepfather.
Jenner was hauling an off-road vehicle on a trailer behind her Cadillac Escalade on Feb. 7 when she steered to avoid cars slowing for a traffic light in front of her on Pacific Coast Highway.
Jenners SUV rear-ended two cars, pushing a Lexus into oncoming traffic.
The Lexus driver, 69-year-old Kim Howe, was killed when her car was struck head-on by a Hummer.
The case will be presented to prosecutors for final review next week, Nishida said. The district attorneys office will determine what charges Jenner ultimately faces.
If convicted of such a charge, Jenner could face up to one year in county jail.
Jenners attorney Blair Berk to declined comment.
When youre behind the wheel, especially one with a heavy trailer, and youre not safely driving and paying attention at a short distance, its totally your fault when you kill someone.
Take away all the glamor and T.V. shows for just a minute, and pretend Jenner is a everyday civilian. The public would be outraged that someone killed another person because of driving too fast and not paying attention. Everyone would be pushing for longer than a year in jail, BUT it is Call Me Cait, so lets show this brave hero some love and give her a break.
First of all, this is no hero by any standards, and if anything, Jenner should be made an example out of. Showing no one is above the law and treated equal. Hopefully the Call Me Cait show is taken off the air and he/she goes to jail.
Is it me, or do these trannies (or as Curtis Sliwa would call them "frozen vegetables") tend to have a disregard if not a depraved indifference toward human life? I see a parallel to the spy formerly known as Brad Manning putting countless lives at risk
I would say they exhibit self absorption to the exclusion of everyone else.
If he is still sporting his Ben Johnson, he should go to prison as a man.
Ha! Next season: “I am Caitlyn: BEHIND BARS”
But yeah, they are all narcissists, everything is about them. That’s why they don’t care about how their families will be destroyed by their “transition”, or losing their jobs, etc. All they care about is pursuing their fantasy.
LOL!!!!!
Like banks and brokerage houses that are “too big to fail”, some egos are just “too big to jail”.
But they finally got O.J. Simpson behind bars, didn’t they?
Same with Al Capone. Maybe not on the original charge, but sometimes, something relatively unrelated.
There’s been lots of speculation as to whether he plans to have his “equipment” operated on. Sounds like a good criterion to me — if he’s got all the male apparatus, he goes to men’s prison.
There will be riots over who his cell mate will be in prison!!
HE was really moving. Knocks the Lexus out of the way, then hist another car.
An insanity plea won’t go over well with the sexual deviant crowd.
lol!!!!!
Bubba don’t care. Cait still a hoe.
Bruce Jennings is mentally ill.
ROTFL! Funny stuff.
First off stop calling him “her”!
As long as Brucie-Woosie is XY-chromosomed, he’s a guy with or without his winky.
When he hits the (men’s) big house, Bluto & Tookie will form the welcoming committee.
