If you heard the quote in the first paragraph but not the one in the second, you might think the clip below is a gotcha. Aha so Cruz wants to change the policy after admitting that its in the Constitution! Well, yes, but so what? He went on to say that it would need to be changed by constitutional amendment. Thats
normally how it works when one tries to change constitutional policies, isnt it?

As a Cruz fan I’m disappointed to see this.
I prefer Cruz’ current leanings.
He seems to have changed his stance now that he has heard te argument. That is a good thing!
sounds like he did not examine the issue before opening his mouth
But as a Constitutional scholar I would've hope Cruz would come to the conclusion on his own - assuming that the writers of the 14th amendment meant to include illegals, as well as the various subsequent related rulings up until the 60s, does not pass the giggle test.
That leaves Cruz at -1 and Walker at -22 : )
How can illegals and their offspring be under the jurisdiction of U.S. when the U.S doesn’t know who they are here, don’t know where they are, don’t know where they are from, and certainly don’t know what they are doing???
I’m dissapointed Cruz has said this in the past.
I’ve seen this before. I don’t like it, but he is still the best conservative in the race.
Yep ... and Ted Cruz never donated money to Hillary Clinton's campaign you can bet.
Kick their @sses back where they came from. Fix your own countries before you suck off mine.
If anchor babies are not citizens, is he eligible to run?
Ted, Ted, Ted.
his mother was under US jurisdiction at the time of his birth
His position change as little as 4 years ago? hmmmmm.
That leaves Cruz at -1 and Walker at -22 : )
Cruz gets -1 for teaming up with Paul Ryan to support TPA and enable Obama’s secret “trade” deals. Then another -1 for supporting a massive increase in the broken H-1B visa program.
So by your counnt that would be Cruz -3 and Walker -22.
If a politician argues in favor of one thing then argues in favor of the opposite, we should believe both arguments and believe that he is a good man. It’s the only way to build the mind of a superhuman. [Stinking load of irony and sarcasm for you there.]
Governor Walker for president. He’s the only one without a poisoned mind and the only one who will decrease the size of fascist government. Otherwise, go ahead. Go mad.
Okay I agree with you here.
And Governor Walker was born in the U.S.A. from American parents, grandparents and great-grandparents—all American on both sides.
