Dick Morris tells Newsmax TV that Bill and Hillary Clinton are convinced the mushrooming email scandal threatening to destroy Hillary's presidential run has been orchestrated by President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle and his senior adviser Valerie Jarrett.
"From the Clinton point of view, this is all set up by Barack Obama and Michelle Obama and Valerie Jarrett, the three of them. Barack hates Bill and Valerie and Michelle hate Hillary," Morris, a former Clinton family confidante and adviser to President Bill Clinton, said Wednesday on "The Steve Malzberg Show."
"They're determined not to let Hillary be the next president. This is the gospel according to Clinton, because they're worried that he'll compromise the legacy....
"They believe, and they're basically right, that in the world of Washington you cannot have leak after leak after leak after leak after leak from the executive branch in a Democratic administration without the president letting it happen."
As well, Morris said, the White House has not launched a probe of the ongoing leaks about Hillary Clinton's use of a private email address and server as secretary of state — a possible breach of security being investigated by the FBI.
"Obama is orchestrating it … Not necessarily the Barack Obama, but Michelle and Valerie and maybe Barack, certainly with Barack's knowledge," he said.
"And that's why [Vice President Joe] Biden's going to announce [he's running for president] in September because they're determined to have Biden as the Democratic nominee.
"They're confident that he'll be the rubber stamp they want to succeed Barack and they know Biden could never beat Hillary, but Hillary could beat Hillary."

I have always believed this.
This is precisely why I think we want to run against Hillary. The Bamster, through election fraud or whatever else he can think of, would try to find a way not to hand the keys over to Trump. But if its Hillary vs Trump, Obama will take his chances with Trump.
I read that the golf and meet at Martha’s Vineyard with the Clintons was more about a signal from Obama to Biden not to run, since this week revealed more chatter that Biden was considering a run.
Who knows the real story.
I do believe at the very least the White House can make certain that Justice and FBI continue to drag their feet on Hillary, long enough so that the Democrats can lay the blame on the Gowdy committee for wrecking her campaign and not blame Valerie Jarrett, is my guess.
I figure by October, the goods will be out on Hillary, but they will let the October Benghazi hearing occur first, before announcing a Grand Jury. That way Trey takes the blame for her demise. Might make a good campaign issue for Democrats in the fall.
Now that seriously makes sense to me. If it really was not a signal to Biden not to run, then your reason makes as much sense as any.

Well if you think about it, from a pure “power struggle” point-of-view ...
right NOW Obama-Jarrett has all the power, the Clintons have none, and therefore can’t threaten Obama-Jarrett.
If Hillary becomes President, the Clintons suddenly WILL have the power to threaten Obama-Jarrett.
So Obama-Jarrett doesn’t really have any incentive to see Hillary win, and a lot of reasons to see her lose.

So, who would Biden get as his veep? And Biden wouldn’t be the one doing the picking.
