Mexicos government is denouncing GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump's immigration plan as racist, and says it will do harm to both countries.
We continue to stand by our position that these comments reflect prejudice, racism or plain ignorance, Mexicos foreign ministry said in a statement, according to The Guardian.
Anyone who understands the depth of the U.S.-Mexico relationship realizes that those proposals are not only prejudiced and absurd, but would be detrimental to the well-being of both societies."
Mexican Foreign Minister José Antonio Meade Kuribreña is a vocal critic of Trumps policies concerning his nation.

Maybe the brown masses should stay home and do something about that.
I sense another bump up for Trump.
I denounce the Mexican Government as assisting “rapists”.
I’m closer to the truth about the “r” word than they are.
Horray for Trump. Perhaps he will build that damn wall starting the first week he gets elected.
Oh well, yes you have convinced me. I am sure Donald will say “no te preocupas”
Opps, shoe read Hurray.
But was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? (sorry)
My hands must be frozen...........You get the point.
If it’s racist for us to expel people trying to take over from Northern European Whites, isn’t it racist for them to come here to do it?
What you said. They can go pound sand as far as I am concerned. What a hypocrite.
Thank you for the link. Great press conference.
Trumps plan could be devastating to Mexico.
One of Mexicos biggest exports is poor Mexicans.
One of Mexicos biggest imports is money sent home by those exported Mexicans.
Of course Mexico doesnt want that bubble to burst.
Instead of us building the wall, we should contract it out to Mexico and let them build it using prevailing wage rates there with hiring preference to illegals in US. Will save us millions and many thousands will self deport to get the jobs.
I’m an American of Latino ancestry-Mestizo, like most-I speak Norteno Spanish/TexMex as my second language.
The only “pure” Spaniards in the Americas are recent arrivals from Spain. Mexico is a country with a population that is mostly Mestizo-mixed ethnicity-Spanish and Native American-but racially they are Caucasians.
Like any ethnic group, skin and eye color vary widely-I’m light olive, a redhead, and I have cousins as dark as Spanish from the old Al Andalus, and as light and blonde as Brits or Germans. There hasn’t been a small white upper class ruling over brown masses since the mid-late 19th century-I’ve traveled to Mexico many times-always off the tourist route, and that is a just another fallacy peddled by illegals to make dumb liberals feel sorry for them...
Thanks for posting. He sure has command when he speaks AND....after 6 years of Obama, it’s not about him. It’s about you and me.
I sure am glad the Mexican government sees Ted Cruz as an ally.
If May-hi-co is so concerned about immigrants’ rights, then they should stop enforcing their own immigration laws, and open their borders to anyone who wants to come in.
Until then, they can just STFU.

sorry it’s msnbc but it’s the only one I could find.
Forgot to mention that the “caste system” in Mexico is based almost entirely on economic factors-there has been a steadily growing middle class there, but since it is pretty much a banana republic with a corrupt government, it is a mess-they really need another revolution to get rid of the corrupt politicians, narco mafia and those who support both-then it might be a place for people to actually thrive. But they won’t go to the trouble if the government is encouraging them to go elsewhere-we need to close the border and covertly help them take control of their country...
