Levin: 'Completely False' That Children Born to Illegals Have Constitutional Right to Citizenship

Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Mark Levin cleared up any confusion as to the Constitutionality of “birthright citizenship” on his program Tuesday saying, the idea that “the Constitution embraces birthright citizenship … is completely false.”

“Birthright citizenship,” declared Mark Levin. “I have discussed this a few times in my radio career – I think 2009. Maybe it was 2010. I think once or twice since then. And unfortunately, I had to watch on TV, while I was in California, some so-called experts tell us – and former Bush appointees, and a former superior court judge in New Jersey tell us – that the Constitution embraces birthright citizenship, and there’s not a damn thing we can do about it. Well that, of course, is completely false.”

Face it, people: In America, the law is whatever the media and politicians say it is on any given day. There is no justice here, only tyranny.

It was actually written for the captured slaves who were enslaved in America so their children could be American citizens. The left lies about everything, the Clintons and all their supporters lie about everything, and are no good theives and scum to boot.

[Some of these liberals that are are feverishly defending the wording of the 14th conveniently ignore the wording of the 2nd.]

Amen. As do their brainwashed rino cohorts who destroy freedom and liberty like the democrat party does.

I put a question up on another post. I could swear I heard Coulter mention something about a SCOTUS decision in the 80s about this. It was apparently a small part, the fine print, of a decision that was handed down. She was being interviewed on Hannity’s radio show.

No, that’s definitely not the case. I would not be naturalized when my parents were. There is an established legal process. I could be 30 years old when they got naturalized.

One grandfather had 12 kids without being naturalized nor his wife.

My post that you responded to was a description of how simple the citizenship question could be. If a couple comes here legally with children, then all would be naturalized at the same time. The same for any children born after arrival but before the parents are naturalized.

Apparently there was some substantial delay in your parents or grandfather becoming naturalized. You don’t say why this happened, but if this nation would simplify its laws and enforce its laws, such situations probably would not exist in the future.

Yes, the parents must have allegiance to the U.S. for that kid to be a citizen.

This isn’t just about illegal aliens - ‘birthright citizenship’ shouldn’t be conferred upon the children of legal non immigrant aliens either.

I agree.
