The company that stored Hillary Clintons private email server tells Breitbart News no backup of Clintons server has ever been known to exist.
No data or backups have ever been known to exist or have ever been in the possession of Platte River Networks, a representative for the company said in an interview.
(snip)
The company representative confirmed that Denver-based Platte River Networks was hired by the Clinton family in June 2013, five months after Clinton left the State Department, to secure the private email server that she used to conduct official government business. Platte River Networks was paid by the Clintons personally.
(snip)
Platte River Networks got the Clinton job by submitting a proposal to take over the server shortly after Clinton left the State Department. The Denver-based company beat out other competitor proposals. Though the company was not cleared to handle classified information, Platte River never saw verification that there was classified information on the server, and, after all, they were personally hired by the Clintons, according to the representative.

this in itself is likely illegal
Can you elaborate?
Didn’t this company just come out a few days ago saying there was “probably a backup somewhere”??? I’m guessing that was a signal to the Clinton Crime Family Foundation, and a suitable payoff was made allowing them to now claim there never was a backup.
How convenient. Those boys must have had their palms greased by the Clinton slush fund, err foundation.
Report earlier today was there MIGHT have been a backup... Not sure what is true. I wonder what will happen when Congress gets back from their not-needed vacation? I assume they will screw it all up.
And what data company doesn’t back-up and back-up again and do a back-up. I say BS. If what they say is true, who would want to use them for there server services?
Bonehead will appoint another special investigator who will do absolutely nothing.
Some Platt River people must have found their cats dead on their front steps.
As many people that work for the state department you’d think there’d be one honest person there who would become a “deep throat” and spill the beans.
Say what you want, but the internet is forever.
I rather think there was a backup, as pretty normal procedure in data world these days (especially for a professional firm)
so I am suspicious of this new claim
we will see...
More parsing. Tells me a backup server is out there. They know it. And they're parsing in case it is discovered. (Oh? Well when we said that, we didn't know....")
We might be better if if Congress doesn’t come back...
Come on..FReeper's...who here thinks she will be charged with anything?
If it’s just a co-located server, the hosting company would have no responsibility or access to do backups, they’re just there to provide network connectivity, UPS, physical security, and to swap failed RAID drives or do other hardware maintenance as requested by the client.
The real question here is that if the drives were blank, what exactly was being hosted there? There’s no reason to co-locate a server with blank drives, it wouldn’t do anything.
Thanks for the education. Makes a little more sense now. AND more questions.
Silence is it's own reward.
