to be fair, we have been saying “secure the border first” on our side for a while. So he’s saying to us “OK, I’m gonna secure the border first”.
Who gets deported can be dealt with later.
It doesn’t say they are spared. He’s saying he would secure the border, which is what we have all been saying needed to be done first.
If you are saying that he has to deal with what is to be done with the illegals already here at the same time he deals with securing the border, there’s a name for that: Comprehensive Immigration reform, which all the RINO’s have been telling us for years that we MUST do, as opposed to securing the border first.
A tiny example, look at thousands of court interpreters and attorneys for illegals...All ding the tax payers as well. Look at our schools...They're choked with illegals...Public school administrators love it...They say WE NEED MORE SCHOOLS and stuff...on and on endless costs to the tax payers.
Yep. The naysayers must enjoy the status quo. No one else is taking as much heat - yet getting stronger - than Trump.
Sorry, CIR is a massive amnesty coupled with an influx of many new legal and illegal immigrants and not doing anything about the border.
I want my pols to say where they stand on positions before I elect them, and immigration is the most important issue in the country today.
I find it unfortunate that in his interview with Chuck today he reiterated that he’s going to bring the good ones back, on an expedited basis as legals. That is amnesty.
The reason people have been arguing for “secure the border first” is because Dems and RINOs never get around to securing the border. It is no reason not to get and critique clear positions from pols beyond the obvious “secure the border” position that they all claim to hold.
Oh, despite my disappointment in Trump’s position, I don’t see anyone else offering better—so I’m still provisionally backing him (and/or Cruz) at this point.
Cruz wants to fully block ‘all’ illegals from all benefits.

We would get the illegals regardless of abortion issues. The democrat party wants voters and the republican politicians are under control of their rich donors who also want the cheap labor express.
Talk is cheap. No action. And he wants to bring in more legal immigrants. Insane.

his plan states mandatory use of E-Verify by all employers. That would cut off most jobs.
We don’t have to deport them. If the illegal aliens don’t have jobs they will deport themselves back to where they came from. Problem solved.
If they make the penalty something like $30,000 per employee violation and jail time for the employers there will be a LOT of unemployed illegal aliens in about one week. Again, problem solved.
I think this alone could win the presidency for Trump. I hope he offers Cruz the VP spot. That would be a fantastic group. I would volunteer for that campaign.
Sounds fantastic, but it will require a Constitutional Amendment. That could take time.
