Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump warned fellow candidate Carly Fiorina Be careful Carly in a speech in New Hampshire on Friday. After arguing that fellow candidates South Carolina Senator Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC)and former Texas Governor Rick Perry fell in the polls after attacking him, Trump said, Carly was a little nasty to me. Be careful Carly. Be careful. But I cant say anything to her, because shes a woman, and I dont want to be accused of being tough on women. I cant do that, right? Can I do that? Women, am I allowed to fight back? Am I allowed? Shes been a little nasty to me. So I promised that I wouldnt say, and I said it to myself, I promised I wouldnt say, that she ran Hewlett-Packard into the ground. I will not say it, that her stock value tanked, that she laid off tens of thousands of people, and she got viciously fired. I said I will not say that, and that she then went out, and ran against Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA)for the United states Senate in California, and its a race that shouldve been won, and she lost in the landslide. And I said, I will not say that Okay? All right? So Im not going to say it.

Indeed.
The next debate will be quite telling with Carly on the stage. She well be asked about the “war on women” and will turn it towards Trump. She won’t mention Jeb. Let’s see how it plays out. I see her as Jeb’s stalking horse myself
You got a problem with RINO cartoon logic? They're basically progressives. "We're anointed, therefore we can criticize. You're a plebeian. Anything you say is wrong." The country club goes full retard.
Those are two different things.....I didn’t read it as saying Trump should not fire at Carly....I read it as saying if Trump can’t take the firing from Carly - which is substantive (tho wrong headed on one issue) - he shouldn’t be in the kitchen.
Trumps response was thin skinned. Like I said, it is not THAT he responded, it’s HOW he responded that seems to be the issue here. Now I would advise Trump or anyone else to fire away more at Democrats and institutionalized liberalism (judges, academics, congress, media) first.....and ignore the other Republicans. That would go for Trump. That appears to be Cruz’ strategy.
Trump is the front runner, it comes off as infantile for him to play the tit for tat responding to every candidate at 1% who’s firing at him.
What else could it mean?
It means, just as you are suggesting, that she is free to criticize him, but if he criticizes her record—he didn’t make it personal, he only commented on her record—he is being infantile and he shouldn’t be doing that.
Carly is a complete tool of the GOPe. Put in there to a) get a woman on the stage for optic reasons, and b) be a stalking horse for the best GOPe hope. Originally that was Jeb, but now it’s starting to look like maybe a Kasich/Rubio or, worst case, Rubio/Walker (whatever the order) ticket.
Jeb’s falling flat.
Did the poor widdle Donald get his feelings hurt? There, there, widdle Donald. Mommy will wipe your tears and make you hot cocoa.
It’s really very simple. All they have to do is follow Ted’s lead and not yank his chain. If you yank his chain, he’s gonna bark. Like I said, very simple.
I agree Trump is fun to watch....for now.
How about he save the heavy duty vitriol
for the Dem’Rats?
So, I am not a Trump guy in that he is not my choice for the nomination. But he is serving an important function right now of keeping the media and GOPe knocked on their asses.
As for his response to Fiorina, I am confused by the reaction here. For as long as I can remember many on FR have complained that the GOP fields wimpy candidates who are punching bags or that W failed because he allowed outrageous attacks against him to go unanswered. Along comes someone who answers every challenge and it is a bad thing? Why?
Carly leveled an attack at Trump. I’m fine with that, politics ain’t beanbag. Trump responds and he is “thin skinned” or a “wimp?” Seems to me that if you are going to attack an opposing candidate you should expect return fire. The way Trump did it by citing things Carly has been and will be attacked for while defusing the criticism of him being sexist was smart. Trump is withstanding the heat and, like it or not, meeting it head on with a fire hose.
I wouldn't be so sure about that. bluster may be the answer.
I’m in TX and I think it’s hilarious how he’s *not* saying it ;-)
The more she speaks, the more she releases about her liberal ways. She is no conservative! I hope that voters see that. She’d be a slimmer version of Hillary.
“Hes nothing but a has-been television presenter from a wealthy family.”
You know so little about Trump...
Just gives Hillary and the left more ammunition for their so-called war on women.
I disagree with him on his tactics.
It's becoming very clear that everything he's doing is all part of a master plan to play and win the American version of Game of Thrones. He doing this in two ways: by skillfully using the media to keep the initiative, thereby sucking the life out of the campaigns of the also-rans who are going to see their financial support wither and die without a meaningful shot at the news cycle, and simultaneously running a parallel campaign for the general election both to reach the "crossover votes" on the D side, and to seek out the "best and brightest", such as consulting with Sessions on forming his immigration plan.
Can anyone imagine an equivalent to WeBeSisters appearing for any other R candidate? He's blindsiding opponents on every side. Whether you agree or disagree with him, you have to admire his skill at the game. If that's a preview of how a Trump administration would represent America to the world, it's no wonder why his numbers continue to climb.
iCarly’s campaign is gender-based. We let the other side do that.
That said, so is Trump’s.
God, he’s absolutely amazing. No one else could do this, or would have the guts to do it.
I had come to regard Carly well till she jumped on The Donald’s comments re Megyn Kelly without listening herself to that interview. Same mistake all the guyz made.
LOL! Yer killin me Donald.
“Listening to Trump takes me back to junior high school. What a baby.”
Trump’s drippy sarcasm went right over your head, just like a junior high schooler.
