Seems to me that it is the church-going Christians and Jews who are the most charitable amongst our population. Or perhaps it would be better to say conservative folks - but they are often one and the same.
Why do we allow people like John Kasich and the media to appropriate the word “charity” to mean liberal-minded? Our so-called liberals/progressives/socialists or whatever they are calling themselves today are anything but charitable.

I noticed after the debate, when Kasich smilingly and proudly announced that he had attended a gay wedding (and brought God in with him), that all the pundits were enraptured with Kasich. In fact, he won the debate, according to their lights. That admission proves he is a man who knows how to play ball. He is “bi”, he can swing both ways.
