Donald Trump suggested that he would not support ending taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood's non-abortion services in two interviews Tuesday.
"We have to help women," Trump told Fox News' Sean Hannity in an interview that aired on Tuesday night. " So we have to look at the positives, also, for Planned Parenthood."
Trump said he opposes federal grants going towards Planned Parenthood's abortion practices, but noted that abortions make up a "small part" of the organization. ...
Trump appeared to support shutting down the government rather than fund Planned Parenthood in an interview last week. "Asked directly by conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt if its worth shitting down the federal government to strip Planned Parenthood's $528 million in government funding, Trump replied, 'I would,'" Politico reported.
Planned Parenthood released a statement Tuesday lauding Trump's comments, urging Republicans to "reconsider their extreme and unpopular positions on defunding preventative care" and "abortion bans." ...

I’m having an out of body experience with Trump. I instinctively don’t trust him, I doubt his sincerity and I’m not sold on his actual beliefs, what are they?
And yet, I’m excited, thrilled, over the moon, with the effect he’s having on the GOP, the media and just Washington in general.
It’s like being drunk and sober. At the same time.
Do I have high hopes for such a scenario? No. But the real issue is ABORTION and not the knee-jerk reaction that so many have.
I think Trump maybe slipped and quoted his buddy Bill Clinton when he stops by the local PP.
I watched a program on EWTN (the Catholic channel) about PP....ex-employees said that abortions were almost all they did, and they wanted it that way, because they were more profitable.
Donald Trump is a liberal Democrat who is trying to sound good & say the right things to conservatives. He's bound to screw it up.
94% of Pregnant Women Who Went To Planned Parenthood Got An Abortion
Yeah, and what happened to shutting down the government?
And what about the Washington Times article form yesterday...
Donald Trump: ‘We should look at the positives, also, for Planned Parenthood’
Positives?
What positives?
BTW, small part of what they do?
How does that Kool Aid taste?
This story has ben around for a few days. There have been multiple Threads discussing this. Must be the new Headline.
I dont believe a guy that cant go 30 seconds without telling you how rich he is would risk loosing his entire $10 billion empire just to be president.
BINGO!
Don Pardo..... tell the Freeper what theyve won.
Well, last night there was a “shave your head for Trump” thread, so...
Skewed claims? He’s quoting planned parenthood in saying their main service is not abortion.
Trump - The Planned Parenthood Hero 2016
Other news outlets focus on some parts. Others, on other parts.
Like the Washington Times, 8/12/2015:
“Donald Trump: ‘We have to look at the positives, also, for Planned Parenthood’
To which I have responded here - What positives? What positives?
And the Weekly Standard, 8/12/2015
Donald Trump Defends Planned Parenthood, Falsely Claims Abortion ‘Small Part of What They Do’
So his daughter Ivanka is just another liberal Democrat who pushes the lie that PP is important for women’s health.
Her opinion is worth crap.
Why? What’s the hurry? The longer he’s in the race, the more Jeb has to spend that he wasn’t counting on having to spend.
But, but, it’s a small part of what they do, right? /s.
And the Washington Times also has an article from 8/12/2015
Donald Trump: ‘We have to look at the positives, also, for Planned Parenthood’
Positives? What positives? I would like one Trump supporter to tell us what the positives are.
Yep, I love Headlines. It takes the work out of reading.
