Clinton aides vow not to destroy emails

Two top aides to Hillary Clinton gave assurances to a federal judge Wednesday that they will not delete any emails or other records related to their work at the State Department during Clinton's tenure as America's top diplomat.

Lawyers for former Clinton Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills and Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin told the State Department they would abide by U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan's request that they not erase any copies of federal records in their possession.

In addition, Clinton lawyer David Kendall confirmed that a Colorado technology firm on Wednesday turned over to the Justice Department the private server which housed Clinton's emails while she served as secretary of state. He also said he'd produced three thumb drives with Clinton's digital copies of emails she gave State in paper form last December.

You'd better re-read what it says.

It says nothing about hosted emails in Colorado.

PRN, a technology company in Colorado took possession of the server in 2013. That does not mean they were her email host. It also does not mean there was not ample time to destroy evidence before PRN took possession of the server.

She not going to be the nominee. Much less, POTUS.

You're dreaming. None of this is going anywhere.

Clinton aides vow not to destroy emails

Translation: They've finished deleting everything.

He also said he’d produced three thumb drives with Clinton’s digital copies of emails she gave State in paper form last December.

**********************************

She gave State PAPER copies when she could have given them digital which is more easily searchable, etc. She’s been throwing buckets of nails in front of all efforts regarding finding out what is in her emails ..... smoke, meet fire.

Anyone who supports/supported or voted for Hillary! should be enjoined from voting for 30 years. Something like the penalty for drunk driving.

I do not give a rats ass about State Department related work.
Show us the Clinton Foundation related records

Exactly! The influence-selling emails would be politically way more damaging to Ol' Crusty's former occupant and would likely implicate Bill and Chelsea as well. Of course I am just fantasizing - those 30,000 deleted emails were just about yoga routines and wedding arrangements.

On the classified stuff, they will just blame a few State Dept career people for failing to properly portion-mark a bunch of emails making them former career people unemployable within a 100-mile perimeter around the Beltway. Anybody who squawks may meet an aging Arkancide operative on the jogging path. All done!!

How is turning over her server to this corrupt, complicit “Just Us” department supposed to give us any confidence that justice will be done?

Yeah, remember when Loretta Lynch was asked about the Planned Parenthood videos, just like CA’s AA atty general, Kamala Harris—their priority is seeing if there’s anything they can hang on the people who took the videos.
It’s a shame but this administration’s credibility, professional reputation and integrity is about shot/zero.

It's the 3rd paragraph.

Lawyers for former Clinton Chief of Staff Cheryl Mills and Deputy Chief of Staff Huma Abedin told the State Department they would abide by U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan's request that they not erase any copies of federal records LEFT in their possession.

Fixed. They must think the judge is either stupid, intimidated, or beholden.

Of course, get your news from NYtimes-land and you’d have no idea of any of this:

You are mistaken.

The article explicitly denies that the Colorado firm hosted Clinton's email service. Read the fifth paragraph:

"Similarly, Platte River Networks is today providing to the Department of Justice the server and related equipment on which emails to and from Secretary Clinton's clintonemail.com were stored from 2009-2013 and which PRN took possession of in 2013," Kendall added.

PRN did not host Clinton's email. They did not take possession of the server until after she left the State Department.

As a matter of fact, I pointedly asked you this question, because I knew that the answer was not PRN. In fact, EXACTLY WHO DID host clintonmail.com, and when they hosted it, is a matter of serious concern.

Examining the “IP address history” of clintonemail.com, Webster concluded there was “strong evidence” that Clinton’s domain had been hosted by two successive private-sector firms: ThePlanet.com, now known as SoftLayer and acquired in recent years by IBM; and Austin-based Confluence Networks, which Webster describes as “a hosting firm of very, very dubious provenance and management, to say the least.”

Read this article, and understand why the chain of possession is important:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2015/03/09/location-clinton-email-server/

The truth is, we do NOT know where the server was hosted while it was storing, accepting and forwarding the most sensitive information, even at this very late date.

And that also means we do not know what the actual chain of possession of this material was, or if it is even in any probative sense still intact. Personally, I believe it is highly unlikely that it had not already been tampered with when PRN accepted possession “sometime” in 2013.

history will show that this was one of the most damaging security episodes in US history, along side of Bradley Manning. As SOS, everything she does is supposed to have some sort of classified status. The only reason she’s not wearing an orange jumper is that Obama wants to drop this on her at the worst time.
