Think again, Galston.
One of these things is not like the others.
LOL.... really! They are in deep denial. There’s a reason Trump won’t give up the third party option. You just don’t know what people that desperate as the GOPe are will do.
The five are:
Graham
Gilmore
Pataki
Perry and
Paul
Racist Wall St Journal gobsmacks the only black
as it also ignores the choice of the people, so far.
No wonder Wall St Journal is tied at the navel
.... to the Indian Senator, Eliz. Warren.
Kasich? What is with all this Kasich touting? He’s a Rust Belt Christie. Never saw a federal program he didn’t want to sign up for.
Just the WSJ pushing the main stream GOPe. Another part of the “Washington Cartel” laying out in plain view. It’s too easy for them to write off Cruz and Carson.
They put Cruz in there to give themselves cover.
I have noticed the weasels that have been serial Cruz bashers since the shutdown now all of sudden are slinging Cruz’s praises to avoid being labeled part of the establishment as they try to take Trump down.
Once Trump is out, they would laugh and direct all fire at Cruz. These people are so predictable.
Let’s see... Take out Bush and Kasich.
Add in Carson and Trump.
There’s your list!!
Ugh. Other than Cruz, no thank you.
Marco Rubio - No thanks he supports amnesty and lied on TV and radio to conservatives about it.
Ted Cruz NB issue
Scott Walker ??
John Kasich - is very liberal
Jeb Bush - I’ll vote for Hillary first.
I’m supporting Trump until he steps down
How did Kasich get in there
History proves that Donald Trump's 'unpresidential' behavior is not a roadblock to the White House
....
Theres a difference between unpopularity and arrogant ignorance, Mr. Glaston says in an interview. John Adams was a statesman and a scholar, and whatever Donald Trump is, hes neither.
...
Donald Trump is not electable, says Galston. Donald Trump represents the intersection of anger and celebrity."
Galston explains that There are a lot of people who are angry and feel repressed by changes on government and society and Trump is saying what a lot of angry older people, mainly of the white and male persuasion, are quietly thinking, but dont dare say. So hes saying it out loud and getting away with it sort of - and it makes them feel good.
Andrew Jackson wasnt a warm and fuzzy guy. He overthrew the establishment and was arguably our first populist president, but he had a lot more in the bank [politically, than Trump], Galston says. But Donald Trump is so far over the line, I dont even know where to begin.
The American people, above all, want a president who cares about them, Galston concludes. And if theres anything manifest about Donald Trump its that he only cares about himself.
Galston worked for Clinton, Gore, Mondale, and long ago independent candidate John Anderson.
People should not underestimate the GOPe or Jeb Bush! The Republican Party has the game rigged (with open primaries) against conservatives. Jeb will likely have strong support in blue states. Do not count him out. He’s got the money and support to McCain us!
I agree that all five are plausible candidates, and far better than the Crone Capitalist, Uncle Bernie or Plugs.
I also think there are 12 other announced republican candidates who would be an improvement on what we have now.
Cruz — Yes! Cruz or lose!
Walker — I would vote for him if he was the nominee. He’s my firewall if Cruz doesn’t make it and some damn lower RINO (see below) is still in it.
Rubio — NO GANGS! I don’t care in you were in MS-13, Crips, Bloods or Eights. no Gangsters!
Kase-Itch — Makes me want to break out the aloe vera and calamine lotion. No thanks.
JED — No more Bushes, Clintons, Kennedy’s Jenners or Kardashians. We’ve had it with these people! Not only that JED Bush sucks. There. I’ve said it.
Cruz is the only one of these 5 that wouldn’t “Comprehensively Screw Americans Out Of Their Country.
