Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Monday he supported the use of US ground troops to fight Islamic State militants in the Middle East.
Speaking on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" program, the billionaire businessman said it would take American soldiers to target the militant group, also known as ISIS or ISIL.
"They have great money because they have oil," Trump said. "Every place where they have oil I would knock the hell out of them.
"I would knock out the source of their wealth, the primary sources of their wealth, which is oil," he told MSNBC. "And in order to do that, you would have to put boots on the ground. I would knock the hell out of them, but I'd put a ring around it and I'd take the oil for our country."

UNTIL I heard the “FASCISM” sneak out... which I discounted as a brain fart..
Until I heard again and again..
Was also in denial THEN.. it hit me what he was actually saying..
Only today did I notice he was “channeling” Mussolini..
I thought it was a joke to mention he was a republican this week..
THEN... I considered maybe he IS faux republican for awhile..
starting listening to what he was “doing”...

That is a tactical consideration and you might very well be right. But the strategic goal is to deny ISIS oil revenue. Trump get the strategy right.
But that's one of my points about Trump - I have not heard him actually flesh out his ideas:

The Trump loves will take it to you but you are right. I admit I’m one that feels that Trump’s loose lips is refreshing to see. However, I know he is no where near capable to serve as our commander in chief. While Obama sleeps through the 3am call, Trump would just hit the nuke button and go back to bed.

Read his book, "Time To Get Tough". His policy positions are there, in substantive concrete terms.
He's talking about sending in an invading army and occupying the area for God knows how long. Because it worked so well last time.
OK...let’s try this again. Where in any of his books, or any of his recent announcements, campaign stops, etc., has he said that he would nationalize any industry or market? I know Obama has done that, but this is not about Obama. This is about Trump...so please tell me, where has he said that?
