I see great similarities between Kelly and Katie Couric. She was the super star on that talk she was doing. The sky was the limit and she believed her own bs. She was given her own show which was way beyond her abilities and she was gotten rid of.
For some reason I think that they are doing the same to Kelly at Fox News. She is believing her own bs and she must be desperate for ratings. For whatever reason they are shoving her into a corner at Fox from which she cannot get out of. Maybe she has become very demanding and a problem and they know she would sue the hell out of them.
The only other way out for Fox is if she fails in the ratings like Couric. Then contractually they can get rid of her.
I strongly suspect that there is a scenario like this underneath. Would not be surprised if a year from now she is gone.

Ms. Crowley thought she was there to debate the candidates, and Trump disabused her of her delusions of grandeur.

Such an idiotic statement, on so many levels, from a true airhead.
First off, we have a political process in this country through which people are elected. The challenge of getting elected, getting your message out, and getting past an agenda driven media that tries to misrepresent your message to the electorate is a different challenge from dealing with people like Putin, or tackling other such issues once you finally are President. Her comment is akin to asking a boxer, “If you can’t beat me in a debate, how do you expect to win your next boxing match?”.
Secondly, this idea that Trump didn’t “get passed” her in the debate is her own fantasy. Trump handled her quite well, and all her spin doesn’t change that.
Thirdly, why should Trump, or any other candidate, for that matter, have to ‘get passed’ her in order to become President? It’s journalists like her that are the problem with the current process. Trying to manipulate voters into anger against a particular candidate you don’t like by slandering him rather than engaging him in honest debate about the important issues, is journalistic malpractice, and harms the electoral process.
