Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina criticized Donald Trump's comments about cable news host Megyn Kelly, saying in a "Face the Nation" interview that women "are really sort of horrified" by the remarks.
"Presidential campaigns are designed to reveal character under pressure and over time," Fiorina told "Face the Nation" moderator John Dickerson. "It's why people like you ask tough questions, and it's up to candidates to answer those questions. So Mr. Trump got asked tough questions by a lot of people on Thursday night, but he chose to attack Megyn Kelly."

This kind of conduct is such a distraction to any serious discussion. It makes the debate about the speaker and not about the subject.

I was horrified by Fiorina’s: “I stand with @MegynKelly” post. Such a lefty reaction.
At the least she ought to be careful before presuming to “speak for all women.”
Some ladies might well agree with Donald’s attitude, that Megyn was being a trollish nuisance (to put it politely).

I am a woman too, and it never struck me that Trump could have meant anything like that.
In fact, I think it would be entirely out of his character. As outspoken - and sometimes pugnacious - as he can be, I’ve never heard of him acting ‘sleazy’ in that sort of way.

If someone has to use their gender to score political points then I have no use for them.

At one point I thought you might have made a decent VP. No more. You just don’t have what it takes to be Presidential in the face of oncoming criticism.

For a fleeting moment I even sort of agreed with those who said Carly should be Trump’s Veep. But she and her conniving self have blown THAT idea.
