Fox News’ Megyn Kelly opened up for the first time this morning about all the criticism she and Fox have gotten about last week’s Republican debate, talking with MediaBuzz host Howard Kurtz.
And, basically, she took the high road, not necessarily singling out Trump but instead defending her tough questions and saying, “If you can’t get past me, how are you gonna handle Vladimir Putin.”
She explained that the goal was, for every candidate, to “drill down to their most vulnerable areas and then give them a chance to explain them” because these same things will most definitely resurface in the general election.
Kelly anticipated a few boos (which they got), but said of all the criticism, “It’s okay, I’m a big girl. I can take it.” Furthermore, she made it clear she didn’t want her male co-moderators being her white knights in case she came under attack.
As for supposed “gotcha” questions, Kelly said, “I don’t think that my history as a journalist supports bias on my part towards either party… When I'm ticking off both sides, I’m in my sweet spot.”

He got past her just fine and she's a hypocrite for not treating all the candidates the same.
What happen at the debate was a failed assassination attempt by Fox and the GOPe. It will not be forgotten.

I have only watched Megyn Kelly a couple times. I avoid TV news as much as possible. She hardly seems like some damsel in need of defending. It is astonishing how fast the leftist media jumped to her defense as some waif who would be crying and sobbing over an attack from a mean big bad Trump. Of course we all know it was designed to take out Trump and again, looks like it failed.
Half the Fox audience is women. I'm sick of tramps and hookers reading the news. Sick of the camera playing cute with crotch shots. No more men's porn with my news.

They thought they were so clever.
The audience did not want clever—they wanted to hear policy questions.
I wonder if Kelly has heard from God since Thursday night.
You know as well as I do that the official plan is for Jeb to run and lose to Hillary. ALL the candidates are down with that plan... except for Trump. I'm not caving in to the big plan just yet, thanks just the same.
Oh, you wanna bet? She will probably ask Hill how many pant suits she has and does she have a pink one. And she will ask Bernie if he considers himself a socialist.
Those will be her toughies for them.
Maybe because Hillary and Bernie will probably never go on her show and take the risk of any tough questions (certainly not Hillary). Also, the Democrats won't allow Fox to host any of the debates - so she won't get to ask any tough questions there either.

She was pissed, and the crowds reaction really got under her skin.
FOX can thank her losing them viewers. Anyone who talks smut with Stern isn’t a serious reporter.
So the question is what is an important question....one that will affect the candidate down the road or one that will affect the Country down the road.
She's definitely forgotten what her job is. I'm all good with doing the above to politicians but there is such a thing as an appropriate time and place. Editorializing as a debate moderator is not that time and place.
