Youre kidding, right? Trump has just faced 36 straight hours of being pilloried in the town square. He has been chastised and criticized across the political spectrum. Every single political PR person would tell him that the last thing he needs to do is go on a show like this, where the sharks in the media smell fresh blood, and run the risk of making things worse. But what he has done is throw all of that back in their face. It doesnt matter what they do to him. It doesnt matter how big of an ambush or how nasty and critical they make him appear, he understands publicity in a show-business sense and that is how he is running his campaign. When others would shy away from publicity at this point, he puts himself on the three biggest shows out there.
Maybe I'm starting to get it now. You think of the Sunday shows as potentially BAD for Trump "No publicity is bad publicity"
I NEVER saw it that way; Trump will EAT THEM ALIVE.

No political advisor would dare suggest going on the shows after their candidate went through what Trump just went through. It would be considered political suicide.

Fox News should do a live anal cavity retrieval for whatever pine cone George Will sat on many years ago. That would be better than watching him solemnly pontificate big bubbles of nonsense.

Love it. Chris Wallace being like a chunk of styrofoam!! Thank you. Yes, a chunk of styrofoam with an inconsistent speech impediment. And Rove is Humpty Dumpty after the fall where he didn’t crack, just ended up with significant Traumatic Brain Injury.

Great points. DT is campaigning on high risk/high reward. Instead of backing down, he doubled down and that’s why he has the lion’s share of the polls. Tomorrow he will take up all the oxygen of the morning shows and be in a great position for another week of battle.
As they used to ask on the weekend shows, “who had the best week?” And week after week, you gotta give it to DT.

This where you just walk away shaking you head saying WTF?
There was a point there where you should have known when to end it.
Now look what happened...name calling.

The thread is about Trump going on 3 major Sunday News Talk Shows.
That is publicity.
The comments are about getting publicity even when so-called experts might be advising you to avoid publicity.
Staying in the news is the key is what these folks are saying. Even if it will be bad publicity, it is better to get some publicity than to get no publicity.
The Sunday shows are publicity even if they treat him badly.

And if the camera on Hume in his living room pans back it’ll show Megyn on her knees paying him back for getting her the job at Fox.

Wow. So glad you two know so much more than Trump's advisers. In fact, ALL advisers. :) You so smart.

If, or when, Trump drops out every candidate, from both parties, will be calling him asking for money and an endorsement.

The assumption of those idiots is that the Sunday shows will be BAD publicity.
Like I said, TRUMP WILL EAT THEM ALIVE.

A truthful “_____ is pathetic” is a better message than all the lies the other candidates and media talking heads spew.
