Scott Walker weighed in on the latest Donald Trump kerfuffle on Twitter, saying there was “no excuse” for Trump’s remarks about Megyn Kelly. Walker has so far made a point of staying out of the fray, avoiding both engaging with Trump or responding to Trump’s attacks on him. But today he changed tack, taking a jab at the business mogul.

“He needs to stop the attacking and start talking about important issues again.”

Ironic considering all your posts about DT have not been about the issues.

Yeah, exactly.

We can be a bunch of wusses and let the left interpret the meaning of Trump’s remarks. Or we can weight in and force the issue in our direction.

I say let’s force the issue in our direction.

As conservatives we should be weighing in on every single issue no matter how trivial. We should be pressing our case constantly, relentlessly. That’s how the left gained its ground over the last hundred years. We should do the same, helped mightily by the fact that the truth is on our side.

Let’s not give up. Let’s win this thing.

In reference to Megyn Kelly, the phrase “War on Women” is a Democrat talking point and a phrase she used without attributing it as such.

Thanks for pointing that out. Her question was really weak in that she tagged "War on Women" to the end to make it sound as though she was asking him about an relevant issue. The WoW is about equal pay, the Glass Ceiling, women's health and time off for maternity leave, not about name calling. That is a sexual harassment issue. She could not tie that question to harassment because (AFAIK) Trump has never been sued for harassment. I think we'd know about it if he had. Plus, he has some very high-profile, successful and dynamic women in his family who certainly would be distancing themselves if was a chauvinistic pig. The media tried to snare him with the ex-wife's divorce deposition but she immediately came out to say it wasn't true.

Wrong. Trump can’t just let everyone else define what his own words meant. Especially when they are grandstanding. He has every right to clarify his comments

It is so sad to see conservatives giddy thinking Trump is going down. Fools all of them.

I agree this might well be the last chance the turn back to trends we've been in for two or three decades. If the next administration continues to leave our borders open and visa laws unenforced (and all immigration laws), the Dims and the GOPe will flood this nations with so many more legal and illegal immigrants mostly from Third World countries that it will become almost impossible to elect a Republican president, let alone a conservative Republican.

And it's not just immigration, but also stupid trade policies and stupid foreign policy, and Trump is the only one addressing all those issues. But he does need to, not become a policy wonk, but he needs to add some more detail and real world examples to support and illustrate the problems only he will point out.

That would be MEGYN KELLY tried to smear Trump with a rape claim by reading it off the wire as soon as it was released

I don’t watch her but others have claimed her facial expression was demonically gleeful as she read the wire trash on her program

Ya know Megyn, Trump has children, too, and you were reading a sensationalized unvetted piece of trivia about their father raping their mother on national TV

I’d say Trump was very controlled to even appear on a platform in your presence

Oh, they have been...

It is just that I respond to Trump when he talks...

And it is Trump who is too busy “clarifying and re-clarifying’ his foot and mouth diseased comments.

When he actually gives specifics on an issue other than single payer, we can talk.

Right, but he keeps it going!

He is now saying he meant her nose!

He should have stopped before with the deviant comment...

I know Trump supporters HATE seeing their guy exposed, but THIS, as I have been saying, is TRUMP’s central weakness.

Let it go, Donald.

Trump is both personally smart, and has a lot of smart operators. All they have to do is go down the list of issues considered sacrosanct ie artificially constructed, and blow each one up in turn. It’s almost like a turkey shoot at this point.

That right there is where I think he is. I completely agree. And he has the means as well as the ear of the electorate. PC could blow up thanks to Trump.

Quit reading into things you pervert. I didn’t, as many others have not, read into Trump’s comments that he immediately meant menstration. Grow up.

Okay. I didn’t see it either. The fake outrage really disturbs me with some of these so-called powerful women. They gush admiration all over that Lena person who says and does the most vile things. The PP doctors on video discussing baby livers as though they were Buick parts (h/t Huckabee)? Nothing wrong there, just move along. I think Megyn has a problem with PP. IDK... this entire conversation is pathetic from start to finish. It amazes me someone thought Trump was talking about her period. That never would have crossed my mind. I thought of a Zombie reference... Walking Dead and all that gory stuff her generation likes.

Delusional. It will never happen. If Reagan couldn’t get rid of the Dept of Education, no one else will get rid of anything either.
